I have been visiting Dr. Koo and his team at MacArthur Park Dentistry for over 10 years. They have always been excellent in all the services and truly care for their patients.

I have Agoraphobia, Panic Disorder and EXTREME dental anxiety. I always go to the dentist with my husband because it's the only way I can do it. It's the worst two days of the year for me by far. We had appointments today and when they called the Thursday before said we needed to be there at 7:45am. (Their EXACT words were "you and your husband have appointments at 7:45am. Be there early to fill out new patient paperwork." I had to remind them that I'd been seen there before and already filled out the paperwork which was concerning.) They called my husband back first and I waited...and waited...and waited. When I was there for a previous consultation about a chipped tooth, I told them how bad my dental anxiety was. If my appointment was at 10:00am (which I later learned as they talked about me behind the front desk) then why in the world did they tell me I needed to be there at 7:45am?!?!? That left me in the waiting room for almost two hours while I tried to fend off panic attack after panic attack. That's just incredibly unkind to someone with dental anxiety as severe as mine. It was pure torture. I finally left in tears after rescheduling because I couldn't hold the panic in any longer. I don't think I can go back though because I'm so embarrassed. Edit: They called me again on Friday. I had an appointment for the following Tuesday at 4pm. They changed it to 3pm without telling me and then just called to confirm. It genuinely feels like deja vu. Would I come in again at 3pm and then sit for an hour having panic attacks because my original appointment was at 4pm? And zero common courtesy to even see if I was available at 3pm. Then when I called her back, she argued with me. I genuinely believe this disconnect with how they say they deal with dental anxiety and what really happens is at the front desk. They need to train ALL their staff on how to handle anxiety. And they need to keep better records. NO ONE wrote in their files what I told the dentist about my anx

Dr Koo is the only Dentist I trust with my teeth. He's the best! I had to get an implant and so far the process has been unbelievably easy. I got a bone graft then I got the screw inserted. I had ZERO bleeding. And the amazing thing is that even when the numbing shots wore off I felt no pain AT ALL. The procedure went quickly and when I got home a few hours later I was eating and drinking normally as if nothing happened. Amazing! Dr Koo is very good at what he does and the fact that my procedures went perfectly attests to that. I recommend him to everyone I know!

Decided on this location based on the more cosmetic services offered and reviews.After my first visit today I am beyond satisfied with my choice.I can honestly say this was the most pleasant dental experience I’ve ever had.All the staff were very friendly and talkative, I felt very comfortable to ask whatever questions I needed.The Dr explained all my issues from my xray very thoroughly on screen for me to see and he was very honest in his advice about services I was considering which I really appreciated.I was also very impressed with the results I received just from the cleaning! I didnt wait long at all to be seen and the office was very clean.Looking forward to my results from future appointments.

Dr. Koo and the staff are always courteous and thorough. Have not yelled at me for my tea drinking stained teeth. :)

Dr. Sam Koo Is a very skillful dentist. I truly appreciate his technical abilities. It has been my experience that regardless of how invasive the treatment is I feel little to no pain during and after the procedure.

Extremely bad experience. Don't go there if you want to save your money. I got appointment in the morning and reached there well in advance. But, I had to wait 1 hour without any reason. After that real problem started. Doctor Dr. Sam S Koo had no idea about my dental/gum pain. He was laughing and saying it's mystery to him and he had no clue why it's paining. I tried to explain in different ways, still he couldn't figure out the issue. I had to literally ran out of that place. However, after talking to my I came to know that he had to go through the same issue with this doctor. So, please stay away from this dentistry!!!

Dr. Koo and his staff are the best! I've been searching for a trustworthy and skilled dentist in the DFW area and will now make the drive from downtown Dallas to see him. Can a dentist visit be pleasurable? No. But Dr. Koos and the excellent staff here will come as close as possible. I would recommend these folks to everyone except my nemesis.

I highly recommend Dr Koo & his staff they are great. I don't trust any other dentist for my dental care even if I have to drive now 30 minutes to see him. Also Serena his assistant is very efficient & make you feel really comfortable.

I have been coming to MPD for about 3 years now and have had the best experience! I recently moved about 30 minutes away, but will continue to drive here because it is 100% worth it. The quality of care I receive is above any that I have received before. The office is modern and clean and everyone working here is friendly, professional and accommodating. I was thankful to find Dr. Koo as a dentist and highly recommend his practice. I trust his recommendations and know his patients and their smiles are his top priority. I never thought I would say this, but MacArthur Park Dentistry has made me love coming to the dentist!

Linda, my hygienist, preformed a deep cleaning on me today. She was amazing! My teeth feel awesome! I have quite a bit of work needed.. Dr. Koo was so great when it came to understanding my apprehension and concerns. Both of them were sensitive and respectful in dealing with my dental anxiety. If you are looking for a dentist and hygienist that treat you like a friend or family member, try out this office.
