Took my one year old for his first dental appointment yesterday. The woman at the front desk was very rude and condescending because they had been trying to reach me to get intake Information about myself (not the patient) which I figured could have been taken care of before the visit as long as I arrived early. I arrived early in order to fill out any Intake paperwork and was not greeted as I walked in. I waited for the receptionist to make eye contact with me so I could check in. She acted busy and after about 30 seconds finally acknowledged me. There was no one else in the waiting room but my family and I. The receptionist was really bothered and rude about not having my correct information on file (which supposedly had all been taken down when I scheduled the appointment over the phone) she made the entire check in process awkward and uncomfortable for me. Over something that took less than 5 minutes to correct, In an empty waiting room. Before even seeing the dentist I was convinced we were never coming back. I do have to say that the medical assistant and Dr. Schneider we’re great so I did schedule a second visit for my son but hopefully their front desk person changes their attitude.
