Best dentist ever!

I just received a birthday card via email. This was the first dentist I went to as a kid aged 5? Never was I scared and was always so excited to pick a toy from the treasure chest. Which I still lived in the area it would obv be my go to dentist!

The best dentist in the world! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Herod! He is, by far, the best dentist I’ve ever had. I love the way he runs his practice and he is so kind and caring. I was having an issue with my tooth and they fit me in as a new patient the very next day, after he personally called me at 5pm the day before to see what my issue was. I waited less than 2 minutes for my appointment and he spent almost an hour with me, discussing my options. This man is an absolute angel and I’m so glad he was recommended to me.

My family and I were longtime patients of Dr. Williams when he ran the practice and I always had quality dental procedures done by him and his staff. I am very pleased to say that Dr Herod and his staff has continued the tradition of providing high-quality dental care. I have had several major procedures done including bridges ,crowns ,and fillings and Dr Herod has provided top-notch care and treatment throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Dr Herod to anyone looking for a dentist in the Richmond area.

Our whole family have been patients of Dr Herod for the last 5 years. He is amazing. Our two sons who are 11 & 14 really like him & enjoy going to the dentist. Dr Herod is very knowledgeable about what is the best option for your teeth to keep them healthy. I highly recommend Dr Herod & his practice for your dentistry needs.

I’ve been a patient for almost 10 years now and I’ll never go anywhere else. I’ve always struggled with my teeth and other dental offices never really seemed to care or offer me helpful advice, they just wanted to take my money. Dr. Herod has always been honest with me and offered me solid advice. The front desk staff and hygienists are always super friendly and make me feel comfortable. I was always a person who had anxiety about going to the dentist and was waiting to hear what I did wrong this time. However, since I’ve been a patient with Dr. Herod, I’ve never felt that way. They make me feel important and like they actually care about me.

Highly recommend this excellent practice and Dr. Herod. Have been going here since the mid-80s. Professional, accommodating, friendly and highly competent in everything they do, from simple cleanings to expert bridgework.

I have gone to Drs. Neighbors and Moretti since they returned to Virginia in 1997. I have nothing but positive experiences at their practice, this from a person who had dreaded going to the dentist up to that time. I've been a patient of Dr. Neighbors since he joined the practice roughly 20 years ago. I have truly enjoyed his guidance and the dental experience about as much as anyone can considering it's like having a tooth pulled. I find that he and his team meet me where I am on my health with practical guidance versus forcing uncomfortable and unnecessary treatments upon me. Additionally, he now sees both my teenage sons who are pleased with his approach, guidance and friendly manner. Lastly, my wife's parents also see him and rave about their experience and they've had a lifetime of comparisons to make. Much love in our family for this guy.

I've been coming to this practice since I was a kid (I'm 40 now). It was a great practice when Dr. Williams was there, and they made a great choice to have Dr. Herod join when Dr. Williams retired. Everyone is so friendly, accommodating and pleasant. Last year I had a problem with a faulty bite guard and they replaced it for free, no questions asked. So few places practice old school family medicine/dentistry anymore, so this place is especially refreshing. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a new dentist or if they have children who need a family practitioner.

Great dentist, switched here a couple years ago and have never had an issue. Appointments are kept on time and the staff is always friendly and answers all our questions.

I have been coming here since I was little and the staff are always friendly and efficient. Dr. Herod and Dr. Neighbors are both great Dentists who take the time to listen to the patient. Claudine is the only hygienist that my family schedules with. She is very gentle and she provides a lot of good information about dental products.
