I, like many people, dread going to the dentist because I don't have " great" teeth! I was considering having all my teeth pulled and getting dentures, until my wife and the staff at RB Comprehensive Dentistry convinced me otherwise. Shelia, Treatment Coordinator at RBCD, set up an appt. with Dr. Boylan and helped us develop a plan to address my concerns. Dr. Boylan began the first phase of my treatment today which included three extractions and two implants. Thanks to the expertise and professionalism of Dr. Boylan, dental assistants Grace and Meredith, and the entire staff at RBCD, I am encouraged about the next phase of my treatment. I broke my tooth while visiting from out of town. They gave me an appointment right away. I was able to get a crown on the same day that I went in. This is an incredible office. I had my crown made by a 3-D printer. It fit perfectly. Teresa was the dental assistant and she was very good. Dr. Patel with the dentist and he was really patient. I was unable to get numb after the first few injections so he patiently waited until I felt no pain. If I lived in town this would be my permanent dentist.

Today I spoke to Sheila at the front desk at the Virginia beach office. She is so compassionate, kind-hearted and understanding. She is so perfect to work the front desk, she is on the front line of the office and I am so impressed by her Excellent Customer Service. I have been going through a challenging time and she was so compassionate it almost moved me to tears. That made my day just to have her encouragement and supportive words. She is Absolutely Amazing! Thank you!

I did not have to wait a long time to be seen. My appointment was at 9:00 and by 9:10 I was in the dental chair for my cleaning. Chaz was very congenial and it is always good to see Dr. Boylan who answered a question that had been plaguing me. Great dentist office. Had an emergency and they saw me the same day. I had to come back the next week to get a root canal and crown and Dr. Boylan was awesome. Very reassuring when I was nervous at first. Didn't feel any pain at all during the whole procedure. The assistant was great at her job too and very pleasant. Everyone I dealt with was so nice, top notch dental office.

Haven't been to a dentist in years. Got an abscess and got an appointment the day I called. Came back later and had the tooth removed. No pain and everyone mad me feel very comfortable.

Started going here in March of 2019. I received a bill today March 2020 for a mistake they apparently made. I have been there 4 other times between the one year period and nothing was ever brought to my attention about owing any money as I paid in full each appointment. The bill I received had an amount with no date of the procedure and no description of what was done. I called to discuss and they informed me it was a mistake on their end from my first visit in March of 2019 and that it needs to be paid. If not paid it goes to collections in April. Notifying a patient For the first time a year later then telling them it goes to collections in a month is unacceptable.

I am very pleased with my experiences at RB Comprehensive Dentistry. The staff is very friendly, as is Dr. Boylan. He is professional and great at what he does. During my second visit, Dr. Boylan fixed a cavity done by another dentist previously, and it was easy, fast and painless. Just yesterday, he placed an implant, of which I was very nervous about prior to because, obviously, the thought of a post being drilled into my jaw wasn’t very appealing. HOWEVER, he talked me through everything prior to and during the procedure. He and his assistant Grace kept me comfortable the entire time to assure I felt nothing. During the procedure he took his time and Grace took multiple images to assure proper placement, and to also be sure they stayed far enough away from the nerve, which I appreciated. I am one day post-op and I have zero pain. The area is a little sore to the touch, as expected, but I am not experiencing any pain or aches whatsoever. I go back in 2 weeks to have my stitches removed and then in about 7 months, I go back to have the implant (tooth) placed on the post, which is not anything I’m worried about. The part that gave me anxiety is already over and I am more than pleased with how smooth everything went. I would recommend this practice to anyone/everyone in Hampton Roads area- specifically those who live in or near Virginia Beach and/or Chesapeake where both his offices are located. Special shoutout to this team! They are great.

The overall experience was outstanding. Staff members were able to assist me promptly. World class customer services was displayed from the every member on staff. RB Comprehensive Dentistry are true professionals.

Dr Boylan and his team are phenomenal. They go over and beyond to treat you with respect and compassion. They are friendly and great at what they do. Meredith and Grace get 5 stars as well!

I am a patient at the Chesapeake office. My hygienist was friendly, thorough, and helpful. The office staff is kind and considerate about my schedule. Great location!
