I am so thankful that I found Light Dental Studios. The care and support that they put into their patients is incredible. My dental assistant Haleigh was friendly and amazing. Dr. Hyder is so gentle and professional. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for my future dental care.

Dr Udod & Haily were the best taking care of my dental emergency. They were compassionate & kept me informed of each step.

We had a really great first impression at our first visit. We wanted to change to a dentist office that didn't reflect a bunch of turnaround & had good reviews and word of mouth referrals. It is important for us that our kids have a good relationship with their dental office. Dr. Micah was very kind, professional and made the kids feel comfortable. He answered any questions I had and explained everything in detail. We were able to get the kids set up for an ortho consultation, as well as set up future dentist visits. I am looking forward to changing over to them for my own personal dental care.

Light Dental Studios was able to get me in quickly after I forgot to schedule my last appointment, oops! When I arrived, I was greeted by name and wasn't seated even 3 minutes before they called me back. Kaysha, my assistant, was extremely careful and attentive as she prepped me for the dentist. Dr. Smolke jumped right into my cleaning, thoroughly explaining along the way. I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable! Finally, on the way out Emma at the front made scheduling my next appointment easy peasy. See you in 6 months LDS!

I’ve been fighting TMJ for many years and finally decided I need to do something about it. Finding a TMJ specialist was much harder than I thought - many advertise those services, but after calling around I found that many include TMJ as a side to their regular dental service. Dr. Jaing was fabulous. She was friendly, but professional - made me feel at ease. She was able to do a head CT Scan right in the office and got immediate results that we discussed. I received 4 different solutions that can be used by themselves or as a compliment to each other. I loved that she had options, but didn’t push me in to making a decision right then. And, since this was my first appointment with Light Dental Studios, Kaysha (Dental Assistant) was my first impression of the business. She represented them proudly, greeted me quickly, answered questions and did the initial intake with TMJ specific questions. Dr. Jaing and Kaysha are a really a great pair and I’ll definitely be back.

Like many people I have been terrible at keeping up on my dental hygiene and it finally caught up to me. I was suffering from an almost blinding tooth pain from one of my wisdom teeth and needed help fast. Every single person that helped me out at every step of the way was amazing. The receptionists at both the Puyallup and Bonney Lake locations gave me all the help they could and made sure I got an appointment. The Dentist and their assistant were very kind, understanding, and gentle. Everyone made sure I knew what was going on at all stages and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with proceeding. I ended up having my wisdom tooth removed and it was honestly a pleasant experience. They made sure to wait until I was ready and checked in with me regularly to ensure that it was a painless process. This is the first time in my life I can say that I would not worry at all about returning to a dentist. I would also like to give a special shout out to Samantha at Bonney Lake who not only scheduled the appointment at a sister location but also checked back in with me afterward to make sure I was ok. That kind of care speaks volumes.

I haven’t been to the dentist in over a decade because I hate going to the dentist. I was very pleased with my overall experience here. Dr. Smolke and his assistant Kaysha were excellent.

Yes just retired and came to Washington state had nothing but the best experience with the staff and dentists would recommend to anyone Thanks again David

I’m very pleased with the Doctor she was very kind, and she listened to my concerns about the tooth that was giving me problems and she took care of it right away.

I have an extreme dental anxiety/phobia and was in alot of pain from an abcess. Aurora and Dr. Hyder did an amazing job of keeping me calm and comfortable. They told me prior to the procedure after the initial exam how much it would cost. The procedure was quickly done once the affected area was numbed. I will be returning for more dental work in the future. Thank you so much Dr. Hyder and Aurora for helping me.

I had such an amazing experience with Invisalign & Dr. Judy! I'm 50 & have never had orthodontics before & love my smile now! I feel so much more confident... Thanks Dr. Judy for making it so easy!

Dr.Thomas n Karen was the best team I have ever come across. They were friendly and great at what they do. They made my visit feel like I was part of the Light Dental family.

Dr. Zander is the best! I would highly recommend to anyone. I had to get all four wisdom teeth pulled and he did amazing at walking me through the process and answering any questions. I don’t thoroughly enjoy the dentist but he made it a great experience for getting four teeth pulled! Overall had a great experience with the office as well!

Got my temporary crown replaced with a permanent. Thankful for the help and kindness from the staff, thanks Kaysha and Co!

As a patient I won't be able to share any experience here. As some one who applied and got interviewed I wanted to share my experience. I was left to wait over an hour for my scheduled in person interview which was really disappointing. I got there 10-15 minutes early to check in. She said she was not informed I had arrived by the receptionist so she thought she had time for some one who showed up late to their interview. The receptionist told me she messaged the person interviewing me when I got there, letting her know I was waiting. She had a smart watch on and checked it real fast when we were in the meeting so I can only believe she got the message. What's stressful is that she informed me there is no drama that people are told when situations arise to go handle it with their co-workers and work it out. I also wanted to add in that no one should apply thinking they will get decent pay if you have NO experience as a DENTAL receptionist please do not apply. I have years of being a receptionist under my belt. They offered minimum wage $15 an hour 🙄. She then goes to tell me she is certain that the starting wages are on the indeed posting which it is not the $39,900 - $52,000 a year as was posted on indeed. I am an adept individual, very talented and not fresh out of high-school. They will attempt to bait and switch salaries here.

I had an amazing experience at my last visit... Great conversation throughout the visit... all while being so professional. The comfort of the visit helped calm my fear from past dental work done elsewhere.

This clinic doesn't deserve even 1 star. Don't waste your time on such an incompetent office. There are plenty of other dentists in the area. I walked in for my appt this morning and was told it was cancelled. Earlier this week, I communicated with a staff member if my appt needed to be cancelled, I'd appreciate a call. I said if I don't hear from the office, I'll know my appt is still on. This was understood by the person on the phone. However, planning out my schedule around this appt and psyching myself up (have major dental anxiety) was all for nothing when I walked in and was told I did not have an appt. Aside from this huge mishap, I have never been completely satisfied with their team. I have a sensitive area that makes me jump out of the chair when it's touched. There have been multiple times I've been told it won't be touched, then they touch it, poke it, prod it, only causing me to have more and more fear and anxiety of the dentist. I recently changed providers for my kids to a dentist that is geared towards children, and on my son's first visit, they were able to clean his teeth. That hasn't happened here. Lastly, scheduling is bananas. There was a time when they were booked out for a year! I believe they still have scheduling issues, so just be mindful of that. I am sitting in my car in their parking lot writing this review. I am so mad about the lack of communication and competency in this office. I cannot wait to find a more qualified and capable dentist office. I assure you - skip this place and go down your list. Any dentist office is better than this joke.

Dr. Micah and Lay were amazing! Dr. Micah listened to my 4 and 7 year old, made everything very clear and was very respectful of their comfort. My son was blown away that Dr. Micah could talk Minecraft with him. 😂 Altogether a great experience and I can’t wait to see the pediatric dental office downstairs!

Great overall care of my kids, super kind, knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, provided great personal care to each of my kids. Glad to have Dr Micah & Lay for future care.
