I love how the staff is very friendly and considerate of their patient's need . They are truly amazing. Adrian is awesome too ! She's one of the hygienist there and is a very nice person. Dr. Patel is very considerate also. I had a root canal, a few filings, and 2 crowns put on in one day. He called me the same day to see how I was doing following my procedure. He's a nice guy but could use work on having more s patience with staff.

The staff here does not have it together. Called me at 5:30 evening before to verify insurance. I have same insurance that I've had for almost a year. Once I had arrived for appt next morning, they wanted me to pay out of pocket until insurance was verified. I had appt scheduled for almost 4 months. This is not the 1st time this has happened. I have been a patient here for 8 years and it was always something, rescheduling appointments, insurance verification...
I love Dr Patel, he is amazing. But as far as the front office, it has not been the same since their long-time office manager left. I requested to either speak to office manager or receive a call back. Got nothing. Terrible customer service for a long-term patient. I am ready to take my business elsewhere.

Update!!!
I hate posting bad reviews but after today I have to say this. I’ve been going to this dentist for years, ever since I was little and have never had any problems until today. I had an appointment but had to reschedule because of travel. So I called weeks in advance to reschedule for a particular day. I specifically set my appointment for the day I got back from travel. Only to find out it was cancelled. After being on a plane for almost 24 hours, I drove from Columbia to Aiken to make my supposedly 8AM appointment. Only to find out it was cancelled. The front desk lady mentioned they reached out to me days before which was on a Wednesday (2 business days). However since I was traveling internationally, I didn’t receive these calls until the day I got back. As far as confirming an appointment, In the past, if you did not confirm your appointment you will be charged for missing it. Me being used to this policy didn’t think confirming the appointment was necessary. However, since I was unable to confirm, they took the liberty of rescheduling me for a way later date. I am terribly upset because
1. they did not reach out to me at least a week in advance to confirm my original appointment.
2. And they didn’t call me to confirm their new appointment that they made for me. This would have saved me a trip considering how much gas prices are.
So I am definitely finding a new dentist. The lack of direct communication and timeliness is a NO for me.
