Called in today to cancel my appointment due to icy roads. I stated that the person that was to do my cleaning would just get an extra break for the day. The reply I got was "yeah & not get paid". I said I was sorry about that but, I think my life is more important than a dental cleaning. Then I rescheduled my appointment with a comment from the person that rescheduled me that "hopefully the roads will be good since I'm a chicken to drive on bad roads". I was clearly less than impressed. I have been going to this dentist for 22 years and this seriously has me considering finding a new dentist.

My family and I have been going to this office for atleast 12 years now and during EVERY visit Dr. Olson and his staff have always been extremely respectful to us with or without insurance. Dr. Olson won't exaggerate or try to sell you on things you don't need, but tell you the truth, even if it makes them less money. I really appreciate his and his whole staff's kindness, thoroughness and flexibility throughout the years.

Horrible experience. My daughter had work done and Dr. Olson gave her hematomas in both cheeks. Do not recommend going here. He was very rude and negligent.

Doctor is good at what he does, but very overpriced. Also, it can take 3 months to hear from insurance, because they don't manually follow up. Also, they charge $10 for every month since your exam, even if you think you've paid off what you thought was your whole bill up front. They won't give you a call if anything changes, just send out bills. Not very personable. Business manager not easy to deal with if you have a billing discrepancy.
Overall, doc is good, but go elsewhere so you don't have to give them your firstborn child.

Professional and very kind! Everyone was incredibly friendly and obviously knowledgable; they all answered my questions, put my fears at ease and treated me with respect. My children had a blast at their appointment, and the whole office treated them like their own. The whole family looks forward to returning to Family Dental!

I had a tooth pulled and the Doctor left a sharp piece of bone, and when the swelling went down it started to poke my gums I could even put my tongue on it. I called and they wanted to know if I could live with it, (Really!!) I go in they cut off the sharp piece. The nurse said no charge, guess what 2 weeks later I get a bill for $300.00 . I never went back. All they want is the money.

Dr. Olson has been my dentist since I can remember! I am absolutely horrified to go to the dentist, but he calms my nerves and blows my expectations out of the water every single time with excellent service. He also has some new hygienists since I was in last, and all are absolutely lovely. This location’s review will forever be 5 stars from me.

Dr Olson and his entire staff have been fantastic with me my wife and kids. Our kids are not afraid of the dentist anymore which they where in the past. Would highly recommend them. Very fair prices as well.

Treated my wife and kids like they were trash while I was working. Dt. Olson has no bedside manners and has no respect for anyone...especially a woman with kids. I recommend other dentistry offices since there are an abundance in Rapid and enough to where this office will hurt down the road

Front desk staff is warm and welcoming. Dr. Olson is great and conservative in his treatment planning, doesn’t do anything unnecessary just to hike up the bill and I appreciate that!
