From the moment you walk in and see the ladies in the front office smiling from ear to ear to the walk into your room and chair you feel welcome!
I have had so many great experiences with this office. I’ve been here for about three years. They never get tired of seeing you and always greet you with a huge smile. Today they went above and beyond. I am always cold and they ensure that I have a blanket. Today they took my sandals off wrapped the blanket around my feet and made sure that I was totally warm before starting my procedure. Minimal pain and discomfort when using pain control!
I am very excited that I do not have to fear going to the dentist.

Great experience. Hygienists, assistants and Dr. Eric are very patient centered. They are on time. Any extra procedures and treatment plan are explained and cost estimates are given. My teen kids are also happy with their care and allowed to come in by themselves without issues. Thanks Unkenholz Dental!

I have had several dentists over the years but once i started going to Unkenholz i started with them. They are a very friendly and helpful dentist office. Everyone in the office is always cheerful, even when they are extremely busy. I definitely recommend Unkenholz dentistry.

I shopped around for a good dentist when I moved to Rapid City ten years ago. Found a great dentist in Dr. Unkenholz and have been going to him ever since. He's very professional and personable and he always explains treatment options and guides toward what is best for me.
And what a staff! Amy and Lisa both make teeth cleaning a pleasant experience, Trish makes the insurance side painless, and Carol always has a smile for arriving patients.
They all provide the most positive experience and I feel like I'm reuniting with friends every time I walk through the door, and look forward to the next visit when I walk out. Thank you all!

Best dental care in town. The whole office is very nice and understanding. Even my two kids like going ! I have some emergency situation going on with my teeth and never made me feel bad about it and always explains everything very well . I would recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist.

Unfortunately I didn't even get to see what all the hype was about... I scheduled an appointment weeks in advance as a new patient. I arrived early to fill out paperwork and sat on my lunch break for over an hour to be told that the doctor was busy handling other patients who needed "more help" than me. How would you possibly know that, if you haven't even looked inside of my mouth? I didn't get an X-ray done or any exam and the staff was less than friendly. I called to confirm my appointment in advance and was not told that they would be running behind or that they didn't receive documentation from my dentist back home. I don't understand why this wasn't communicated. I understand that emergencies arise however they didn’t do much to help or seem to care that they wouldn’t be able to reschedule me until next week Thursday lol. What a joke. I shared plans to move within the next few weeks and was told they were booked out (not very empathetic). They shouldn’t be accepting new patience if they are this overwhelmed. They might have an amazing doctor unfortunately I wouldn’t know. I will be looking elsewhere.
