I have been seeing Dr. Weisbecker for nearly 10 years. I came to him after severe nerve damage from a previous dentist. Dr. Weisbecker and his assistant, Monie, were and are so gentle and kind. They are patient with my anxiety over dental treatment and make me feel at ease when I have treatments done. The staff is awesome and they are respectful of my time and get me in for my appointment in a timely manner. Hands down, best dentist in Sioux Falls!

I've been driving up to my longtime dentist in Watertown for years, but finally decided to go to my husband's dentist after the drive started becoming a bit much, especially in the winter months. He loved this place, so I decided to give it a try, although I was used to private practicioners. Despite that, I never felt uncared for or uncomfortable in my visit there. I admitted that I was overdue for a cleaning, but they never shamed me and instead told me that I had great-looking teeth. They even give you sunglasses so that the light doesn't glare into your eyes! Both my cleaner and the dentist were awesome, and I plan to make them my regular dental place.

During the restrictions necessary during this pandemic, I felt some concern about having a dental appointment; however, all concern vanished when I was greeted and escorted to the examination room. The dental hygienist was clear, careful and explained all that had been done to achieve the best possible and safest experience. As usual, the dental examination and cleaning were professional. Reality check here. I would only give them an average score. As far as I know the dental work is fine. Other aspects of the operation really bug me. 1) not getting the same information from different staff members. Right hand doesn't seem to know what the left one is doing. But I've run into that at other dentists, so I guess this is pretty average. 2) the endless litany of "how are you going to pay for this?" Once your account is set up, why do they have to ask repeatedly? You may be a walking zombie after a session in the chair, but there is always this last hurdle before you can leave. I've run into it at other dentists, so just average here too.

These guys are competent BUT EXPENSIVE! $60 for the dentist to look into your mouth for one minute?? Ridiculous.

I don't normally love going to the dentist but Dr. Hartmann and her staff are so friendly and kind! I highly recommend her and her staff to anyone who's ever had bad experiences with dentists in the past!

SWD is a great place to go to. Everyone is very friendly and great to deal with. Dr. Hartmann is the only one I have dealt with and I highly recommend her. She is very informative, helpful, and super nice.
