I recently had my first appointment with Neighborhood Dental and I knew I was going to be pleased right when I walked in! Danielle at the front desk is so friendly and helpful! I can’t say enough about my Hygienist Alyssa and my doctor, Dr. Larson! They were very thorough and so kind! I will continue recommending Neighborhood Dental to anyone and everyone I know! I wish I could get my teeth cleaned every month!! 😊🦷

I recently moved to South Dakota from Indiana and chose to see Dr. Larson for my cleanings. I had my first cleaning and visit in August 2022 and was very pleased with the hygienist and Dr. Larson. The office was nicer than any other dentist office I had ever been in. They have TVs available to watch during your visit, massage chairs, and the office was very clean. At my initial cleaning, I was told I needed to get two fillings. When I returned for my first filling a week later, it was a different experience than I previously had with dentist in Indiana. I experienced a lot of pain during the filling which I had never had while getting fillings in the past. I returned for the other filling about two weeks later and once again experienced more pain than I ever had while getting a filling. With my previous fillings, I never had pain or sensitivity by the time the numbing wore off. With these fillings, I was experiencing pain for nearly two months. Dr. Larson and his staff were very accommodating and tried to help resolve my problems with the fillings, but still to this day I am having tooth sensitivity and pain at times which I never had before these fillings, which causes me to believe something happened during the filling process. While the staff and facility are both very nice, I personally will not be back to Neighborhood Dental due to having tooth problems that were not initially present and only arose after my appointments with them.

They have a very friendly, efficient staff that put you at ease and make you comfortable soon as you walk in the door. I sure wasn't in the waiting room very long. I even recieved a very nice welcome back pack. With alot of useful items! I would recommend their services to everyone!! Two thumbs up Neighborhood Dental!!!

I appreciate being able to get everything done at Neighborhood Dental. I don’t have to go to a different dentist who specializes in crowns, root canals, or extractions. My dentist here is able to care for all my dental needs on the premises.

I appreciate everything about my appointments at Neighborhood Dental. My dentist is Dr. Bakke and his assistant is Sharon. I had to have a lot of work done on my teeth and needed upper dentures. What I thought was going to be a horrible experience turned out to go very smoothly in every way. They explain all the steps so thoroughly with compassion. They are very skilled where I had no problems or concerns after each procedure. They advise you that certain things might come up, but I never had any experiences with adverse results. (Like adjustments,ect) If I did, I have every confidence they would quickly and correctly resolve it. If you are feeling overwhelmed or worried I would recommend having Dr. Bakke be your dentist. Because you won't be feeling that way for long. They will answer all your questions and concerns through the whole process and your appointments!

I have been going to Nerghborhood Dental for over 30 years. Both of my children grew up going every 6 months. The staff is very kind, calls you by name as you enter the building. The Hygienist (Melissa) is very gentle and explains what she is doing and goes back over what dr. Says to make sure you understand. Dr. Is very thorough and gentle as well!!

Going to Neighborhood Dental in Yankton is always a positive experience. The front desk staff recognize me and check me in immediately. This visit I didn't even get my coat hung up before the hygienist was calling me back for cleaning. Something came up in the office so another hygienist did the x-rays, so there was absolutely no wait time for the cleaning and doctor exam portions of the visit. Dr. Bakke is very personable and easy to talk with, taking as much time to explain results as needed. Scheduling and check out were a breeze, especially with the member savings plan.

The reception and scheduling staff are always friendly and greet me when I arrive. The hygienist and doctor are easy to talk to and willing to listen to (and answer) my questions.

Great facility! Comfy chairs, welcoming environment and pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. We've been patients at Neighborhood for nearly 8 years. Very happy with the services we've received.

The whole office provides excellent care. They do everything to make sure I receive the very best treatment. Definitely recommend this office!
