It was my first time going to family Dentistry and I will definitely be back . My experience was 100% great . I felt comfortable being my first time the staff was were very nice and comprehensive. I have no insurance and the ladies upfront explained to me in a very nice way about being into a family plan which I def signed up for . The atmosphere by just walking in and seeing their quotes of faith made me feel extra comfortable and well treated . Thank you so much

We bring our son here & it’s wonderful. From reception to the nurses to the doctor - everyone makes you feel like you’re welcome & they truly care. Would recommend to anyone 10/10 any day!

I just wanted to get on here and say, alot and I mean alot of people have referred me to this place. With that said I have had the worst teeth,head, eye, and ear pain for two weeks. I cried non stop like a baby finally broke down and called literally ten different dentists on Valentine's day and got shut down none of them would even attempt to squeeze me in with me crying on the phone. I gave it one more try and these people were just absolutely freaking awesome and all very friendly and made sure to squeeze me in for a emergency visit even though they were busy etc. They weren't even sure they could do anything and yet did the full exam, multiple x-rays etc and we're absolutely the nicest dentist I have EVER been to in my thirty four of existence!!! The sweet girl doing the x-rays even wiped my tears while doing the x-rays and was very patient and friendly and took time to listen even though she was slammed and having to train another girl. The dentist was very patient and friendly as well, he explained everything and actually listened to me and helped me calm down as I have the worst freaking social anxiety and was shaking non stop!!!! The woman at the front desk has a daughter that works there I forgot her name due to having a stroke in oct but she is absolutely a life saver very professional, courteous, super sweet lady and treated me with respect!!!!! I mean everyone there were very nice and professional, offered to help in any waythey could. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this place to anyone and everyone, I already have in just in one day told at least ten people. Thank you guys so much for real everyone was great!!!!!! So congrats now you're stuck with me for life 😂 the lady that made sure to squeeze me in there same day daughter's name i believe she said was Mariah (so sorry if I spelled that wrong or if it's wrong lol ) also the appt setting lady was sweet, guys for real everyone smiles and is friendly go check them out, so Thank you Mr. Richard Heard and your whole team so so so much!!!!!

Other side notes for whoever and everyone that will read this super long paragraph, it's really hard for me to even go out in public with my anxiety and people that know they know so this is a absolutely great place.

Second noone likes having to go to the dentist but it's laid back and the feel and vibe is good so you're comfortable enough it's like talking to friends!!!!

Third I was so nervous and rushing and already shaking before I got there that I had forgotten my freaking ID had it been any other doc,dentist etc they would of turned me away but they knew I needed help and went out of their way and still seen me as a emergency and a NEW patient that means a lot by itself!!!!!

Fourth teeth and jaw pain is the absolute worse man and the fact they went out of their very busy schedule to squeeze me in as a NEW patient, people I will never go anywhere else , I think I've validated my point, and I just had to get on here and brag for a min 😂🤗🥰😜

We’ve been going to Algood Family Dentistry for years now and we love Dr. Heard and everyone in his office! They’re always so friendly. Thank you guys for being awesome!!

I’ve been to several different dentist in Cookeville & left after only one visit because I didn’t like the dentist because of her being rude or not having my teeth properly cleaned or whatever the reason that it was that I chose not to go back.

I’ve finally found a dentist that I feel comfortable going to! All the ladies were FANTASTIC! They had great personalities & made me feel comfortable. They addressed my needle fear and suggested ways to have a cavity filled without being in fear.

Dr. Heard was very nice as well. He didn’t suggest multiple things that he felt I needed like some of the other dentist when I didn’t need them.

I got my teeth cleaned today but had to address a cavity as well. We set up a future date to have it filled. I will actually keep that appointment & all future ones! Lol

I have been a patient of Dr. Heard for years and in all that time I have nothing to say but good things about Dr. Heard and the staff here. They are always friendly and kind, always take their time when you have an issue and don't try to just get you in and out the door. They take the time to listen to what is going on and strive to take care of the issue. I have had multiple things done here and everytime they are amazing. I usually don’t like going to the dentist but seeing Dr. Heard is refreshing. I actually enjoy coming to the dentist. Him and his staff are very caring and attentive and make you feel like you matter instead of just a number.

I have neglected my oral health care for years and it was hard to even make an appointment due to embarrassment, but the dentist and assistant were nothing but professional. The assistant took great care not to cause any pain during the X-rays, very much appreciated. But I got zero judgment from anyone and a treatment plan to help me smile again not make a lot of money! Thank you everyone from the reception to the dentist!
