Dr. Amy Armstrong and her staff are the Cream of the Crop.
I never wait on any appointments no more than 5 minutes .
They make each of my appointments personal like I'm their only patient.
I've recommended several to this practice, and my boss is now one of her patients.
Thanks for all you do!! You're the BEST .😁

This is the best staff of dentists I’ve ever had. I came from a traumatizing dentist in Nashville that literally made me terrified of any work on my mouth. My old dentist had to repair the same tooth 3-4 times on 4-5 different occasions. I spoke with Dr. Armstrong about my past fear and she reassured me that I would have a different experience at her office. I’ve had about 4 appointments so far and every tooth she’s touched, has been permanently repaired without any issue. Fear of dentist? No more.

Warning - long review. I had two poor experiences at GDA. The first was for a cleaning. The dental assistant I had was helping from another dental office and just filling in for the day as they were short staff (at least that's what she told me). She didn't know where anything was (as to be expected not actually working at the office). It took her about 10-15 minutes to do my teeth x-rays as she at first couldn't find the x-ray machine hidden in the closet, then she had trouble moving it to the right location, and then couldn't get the thing you bite down on to sit correctly in the machine or in my mouth. She had to take multiple xrays of one location because the xrays werent coming out correctly. Meanwhile, all I'm thinking about is the radiation I'm getting from this machine right up against my face. She then stated that I had nice teeth and barely cleaned them. She only scraped and flossed in between about half of them. Then the Dr. comes in and tells me I needed a cavity filled, which was expected as I was experiencing a little sensitivity in that tooth. This is where it got really bad. During my second visit for the cavity filling, they gave me the shot and stated I needed to wait 10 minutes for the medicine to numb me. After the 10 minutes they go to work on me and I still feel cold air coming from the suction thing. I tell them and they said they had to administer more medicine. Second time having to get a needle stuck in me and wait another 10 minute (mind you, I don't like needles in the first place!) They start drilling and about 30 seconds in I feel an intense pain from the drill (my biggest fear about cavity fillings). They then backed off and had to re-administer the medicine AGAIN! This time as the Dr. is trying to move the needle around all over the place in my gums to make sure it takes, she accidentally pulls it out and it squirts down my throat. This was one of the worst tasting medications I've ever tasted. Wait another 10 minutes and finally there is no sensitivity to the drilling. They do the procedure and I'm on my way. I wait a couple hours or so before I eat and when I do, it's more sensitive that it was before, and the tooth feels like it's grinded down to the root! Later that day I get my blood pressure taken at work for a health screening and it is sky high! I was only 26 at the time and in decent shape. I later look up the medication they give during cavity fillings and it can cause high blood pressure, and I just had 3 doses (1 being partially swallowed)! I continued to have high blood pressure for weeks afterwards. Finally that went back down. This was two years ago and my tooth still bothers me. It hurts to bite down on anything moderately hard. Never went back as I hate getting stuck with needles and I know they would have done the same thing. I will say they were very nice at the office. But as for their dental work, I can say they are the worst I've been to.
