The staff at Coulter Family Dentistry is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Patients are greeted with a smile and the most helpful front desk staff ever. The dentistry team is out of this world! They are friendly, kind, and gentle, making patients feel at ease during their appointments. The practice is equipped with the highest technology, including heat massaging dental chairs, and patients can watch Netflix during their procedures.
The practice offers a spa-like experience, and patients can enjoy the best lip balm in Knoxville. The atmosphere is amazing, and the place is super clean. Patients are always taken back at the exact time of their appointment, and the staff accommodates their work schedule very well.
The practice has been working on patients' teeth since high school, and they truly care about their patients. Patients are always well cared for when they are there. The doctors are awesome, and the hygienists are phenomenal. Patients can ask for AnnieGrace, who is the best hygienist ever. Leslie is also the best for cleanings.
Coulter Family Dentistry is the best dentist office around, and patients would never choose another dentist. Patients highly recommend the practice and will keep coming back again and again!

Dr. Birch was the dentist that saw me at Coulter Family Dentistry. She had stated she was new to the practice, which made sense since I had not seen her before. Not having a favorite dentist before (like you commonly do with hair stylists, nurses at your doctor’s office), she provided an amazing experience. You can tell she knows what she is doing. She took her time to perform an exam and then provided information in a way I could understand what I needed to have done. She allowed me to ask any and all questions and answered them and I felt very confident her in abilities. As I saw Dr. Coulter on my way out, I told him I thought he hired an excellent partner and couldn’t have had a better dental appointment. This office is so incredible with their entire staff it is unparalleled to my other experiences. They are truly just the best in the business!

THE BEST DENTAL VISIT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!
I needed to find a new dentist. Receiving great advice from a friend in that field of medicine I had my first visit today.
I have never previously experienced the level of detailed care, professionalism, and comfort I received today at Coulter Family Dentistry. The office is perfectly designed, it is welcoming and aesthetically perfect. The equipment is as modern and good as it gets. The examination and my cleaning was gentle and thorough.
Dr. Coulter and Dr. Anna Birch are fantastic!
The office staff and hygienists were gentle and accommodating.

Coulter Family Dentistry is like no other!! Such a wonderful experience from the moment you step into the office to the time you leave. You are greeted with a smile and the most helpful front desk ever! Then the dentistry team is out of this world! So friendly, kind, and gentle! They make you feel so at ease and do wonderful work. My children love going to the dentist and I fully credit the staff for that! 10/10 experience for sure!

Annie Grace, Dr. Coulter and Coulter Family Dentistry are absolutely PHENOMENAL. Specifically, Annie Grace. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. Hands-down the best experience I have had at a dentist’s office. I was very pleased with the level of care I received, and left feeling more empowered about my oral health. They were able to provide me with information about how much services would cost up front - which is a big deal. Prices are reasonable, the space is very well-designed and feels welcoming as opposed to harsh and uncomfortable. Erica was kind, professional, and did an exceptional job cleaning my teeth.

I have been to Coulter Family Dentistry three times now, and each time I have had an amazing experience. Each staff member makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone know who you are as soon as you walk into the door, and greets you with a smile. I have asked numerous questions, and never once been made to feel ignorant or incompetent. I am finally excited to go to the dentist! (The massaging chairs aren’t that bad either 😁)

I was very impressed by the office cleanliness, dental hygienist and Dr. Coulter’s manner. I was asked to pay a $44 office fee and told future fees would only be $25. My insurance pays 100%. Dr. Coulter was not content with my insurance payment and yet I was told before making my appointment they accepted my insurance. At no time was a fee discussed with me until after services were provided. I’m old fashioned and I don’t like surprise “fees” tacked on. Finally, I noticed the picture of Dr. Coulter with all of his beautiful hygienists. Why do so many male dentists insist on only having young beautiful female hygienists?

Dr. Coulter family dentistry has been working on my teeth since I was in high school! They are amazing and truly care about you as a patient! Every time I walk in the call me by name the moment I open the door that speaks volumes to me! The atmosphere is amazing and the place is super clean! From my initial phone call to see about setting up an appointment through to exiting upon completion of your appointment- nothing but the most professional and absolute caring, courteous, friendliest staff, techs, doctors/dentists that I’ve ever had.
