I just have to say: this is the best dental office I have been to in Abilene. From the dentist and hygienist, to the dental assistants and receptionists everyone at this practice is incredibly sweet and helpful. After leaving another dental office that left me with not so great dental results, Dr. Smart has been doing everything to get my smile to a healthier place. The ladies here do their work efficiently, are easy to schedule with, and the prices for services are very reasonable. If you’re looking for a new dentist Dr. Smart is your girl, you won’t leave disappointed. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the best dentist I have ever been to. The whole staff is excellent and caring. I could not feel any pain while I was have a root canal done and they kept asking "Are you sure you don't feel any pain?". Dr. Smart is always upfront and makes you comfortable to ask any questions at any time. I was impressed that they got me in the next morning after I called stating a tooth broke. This is what led to the above mentioned root canal. Dr. Smart has repaired many teeth that were previously done at other dentist. I have not had a single issue with her office or work.

Went to Smart Family Dentistry for my first time the first of July. Lori, Dental Hygienist, cleaned my teeth (and I'm such a baby), I loved her! She was so informative and kind. Taking x-ray (by the way...the most thorough x-rays I have ever had done by a Dentist office my entire life), to cleaning my teeth was not bad at all. Went back for a follow-up with Lori and Dr. Smart and I was so impressed. Dr. Lyndi Smart sat down and went over each and every x-ray with me personally and told me what I was looking at. Great Dental visit and I'm sold on all the modern-up to day technology that now, they are stuck with me. Love them all!!!

We LOVE Smart Family Dentistry! Dr. Smart and her staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable! They are awesome with kids! My daughter has been going to them since she was 4. My husband loves it because they work around his work schedule! I highly recommend them!

I hate doing bad reviews but sadly this is a must to warn others. Went here due to a tight time schedule to get my teeth cleaned. The lady with short hair who did my Teeth was extremely rough and uncaring. Never experienced that before. They did a ton of x-rays, and found I had some cavities and offered for me to come back. I came back and Dr. Smart did both of them. Again rough and rude she is. I tried to strike a conversation with her, and she just didn't want to talk. After they were done, I left. I was in pain (never in pain in that area) and let it go for a few days before I called and they got me back in. They did not put the fillings in right and it was rubbing against another tooth where floss would not fit and when tried it hurt even more. So they started to file them down without any pain deadening stuff. The pain got to me a bit too much and I asked them to stop. She said you want pain deadening, I said yes. Then she got upset, sighed and did it but rough doing it. They sorta fixed the issue and when I wanted to thank her she disappeared before checking if I am okay and it was good.
She is very rushy, and just doesn't seem to care for her clients like other dentists I have been too sadly. Some of her staff are nice, but she is a winner for not being nice.
At least they got my teeth cleaned. I will not be going back here again.
Update: Went to another dentist to have my pain resolved. They found the fillings that Dr. Smart put in, were loose and not bonded well. Also had a gap. That is what happens when you rush and don't do a good job. My new dentist is great and takes care of their patients. Best in town!

I broke my front tooth over the weekend, and I was absolutely mortified. Dr. Smart was available to fix it up for me first thing Monday morning! The shade matches perfectly. You cannot even tell where the filling is! My experience at Smart Family Dentistry was AWESOME! Definitely recommend Dr. Smart & Staff!

I broke my tooth at lunch and was in her office being seen 45 minutes later! Dr. Smart and her staff were fantastic. They were welcoming, friendly, and understanding. I appreciate her getting me in so quick. Followed by doing my root canal and crown. Excellent customer service.

I would like to say that the staff was wonderful and very caring so it's a shame that i cant say the same as the dentist. I had to cancel an appt due to circumstances at work so I rescheduled and went to my visit. Ms Smart proceeded to raise her voice and chastise me for cancelling and went on to say that impacts her business which I get. I was pretty embarrassed she did that in front of her staff and within hearing range of other patients.

After I got my braces off I went here to get fillings done, afterwards I had very bad pain to the point where I couldnt chew or eat a lot of things, it felt like sharp shooting pain. I went back twice still didnt fix the problem and she seem in a rush, so I went to another dentist in town and they fixed the problem in 1 visit. So If you are planning on going here be warn !
