New Hope Dentist

I’ve been going here for months as well as their other location before I moved. They have always done an amazing job. They make you feel extremely comfortable and are very accommodating to people with dental anxiety (which I barely have anymore because I know how amazing they are). They don’t make you sit in the waiting room forever like all other dentist offices do. They clearly lay out what you need and what your options are. They are quick and efficient and never make you worried that they rushed. They also make great recommendations on when to get work done to get the most of out of your insurance benefits. They address the problems you have and any questions and they never hide things to get you to come back. They were the first dentists to tell me about my teeth grinding issue and suggest solutions, while other dentists hid it from me so I would come back for more work. They work so hard to make sure you get the most excellent care. I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody!

I as well added 5stars on Yelp! This is definitely the place to go to get your teeth fixed in a nice warm friendly environment. Dr Rao is fantastic. She is very gentle and explained the steps along the way. Her staff makes you feel comfortable and the nervousness of getting your teeth work completed is not a problem with your plan. Thank you

It has been years since I have been to the dentist. I was very anxious and knew I would need a lot of work. Dr. Rao and her staff made me feel very comfortable through the whole process.

This is honestly the best dentist I have ever been to. They are so kind and caring and really care about their patients. Even the front desk staff is super kind and caring. When I went to get my consultation there was a nurse named Marah and she was super sweet and easy to talk to and that made my experience even better. I just recently got my wisdom teeth out with them and I was really scared but the nurse Amanda and Dr.Hijazi (the oral surgeon) talked me through why I was so scared and made me feel a lot better about the situation and calmed me done after the procedure went without a hitch. The wisdom tooth surgery went by so fast it didn’t even take an hour I was so impressed. They also filled my cavities recently as well and nurse Amanda and Dr.Rao were absolutely incredible they talked me through everything and made me feel calm and safe. The staff there just makes you feel so warm and cared for. They even let my significant other hold my hand while I got my wisdom teeth out. I will be going here for the rest of my life lol.

The doctor won’t give me a regular teeth cleaning because “she thinks I need a deep cleaning”, I had two regular teeth cleaning in the last 12 months, and neither of them reject me of this service, yet this doctor gave me a $3627 bill and refuse to give me a regular cleaning. What a doctor. I don’t recommend anybody coming here as they will slaughter you with bills. Some practice! Stay away at all cost!

I had a great experience at NewHopeDentist, to start off the staff was very friendly and professional. I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed all at once without being under anesthesia which I never imagined. I can't thank you enough Dr.Sharma for all the support and guidance.

My visit to New Hope Dentist was fairly pleasant for an initial exam, cleaning and impromptu filling. Check in was a breeze as I was the first patient of the day, but I was having a difficult morning and the length of having to sit through X-ray shot after shot was such a lengthy ordeal and being prodded and handled every which way to get the shots was a bummer. I was not expecting this visit to take over 2 hours and it was something that knocked out my entire work morning which I did not prepare for. My previous dentist in the arboretum was a bit more quick to help me through the motions so this was taking me back a bit. Navigating my X-rays, there was a mention from the dental assistant that I grind my teeth and then lots of talk about an immediate treatment plan.

I've been pretty well versed with dentist visits as I've had quite a bit of work done with various dentists around the greater Austin area and it was just a bit pushy to feel like there was a plan right away to get started with. Also with grinding my teeth, a slight nudge to trying to convince me to say yes to a pricy mouth guard but past dentists if they have mentioned this have shared it's an easy solution with picking one up from Amazon to protect the mouth.

Dr. Andrew Davis was my visit through Opencare as they have mentioned they are great at finding great dentists in the area. His service was very well done, fillings and deep cleanings handled efficiently. I did not have complaints about the parking lot, very abundant though could be cozy depending on time of day. I will say they could do a better job of stating what is and what is not covered, just to be more candid and matter of fact as I did not realize fluoride would be a $25 cost. All other dentists I've visited in the past have included that in my visit for free, with a berry flavor tasting and gifted me a little nice travel toothbrush and floss kit which I love to throw in my travel luggage. I've also missed the headphones with your own specific Spotify playlist but that's not a big ordeal during the pandemic.

I'm on the fence but I like the proximity since I'm local to CP now but would appreciate the freedom of having later week and weekend appointments due to a working life and baby care.

I can’t thank Dr. Rao and her team enough for helping me get my oral health in better shape. Every step of the process was seamless and done with great care. Front desk and assistants are all incredibly kind, hard working and caring. Dr. Rao is very thorough, gentle and professional. Its clear she loves and cares for her patients. I needed a ton of work and I never once felt judged or belittled. They answered any and all questions I had, and always made sure i was comfortable and educated in oral health practices. Super thankful for this experience and glad to have gotten over my fears of the dentist because this great dentist office.

My husband and I went to Hope Dental for the first time. We just moved from Orlando in May so this is our first Dentist office in Austin.

When we entered we were greeted with such warmth from the Front desk woman I believe her name was Casey. She was extremely sweet and polite.

Later we met Donya she was such a fun time! She made us laugh and we immediately felt comfortable. Every interaction with her was a pleasure. She is the rising star of the office and really keeps your mood upbeat during the duration of your time.

Great office! We already scheduled our future appointments.

Staff is very nice! I’m not a big fan of going to dentist but the staff is very friendly and helps make you comfortable during your your visit. They also help explain everything to you if you’re not familiar with dental terminology and the breakdown of options available to you and how much you pay out of pocket.
