Dr Mackintosh and her staff are fabulous! They are so professional and kind. The office is so peaceful and very family oriented. I've been a patient for 10 years and I have referred many others to their office. Grateful to be part of their dental family!

The staff was very nice and the facility was beautiful, but there seemed to be some miscommunication. As a new patient, I scheduled what I thought was an appointment for a cleaning. When I got there they took several x-rays, brought the doctor in to look at my teeth, then told me they didn’t have time to clean them and they usually “do X-rays and an evaluation before the cleaning.” No one mentioned I would need two appointments for a cleaning when I scheduled, but I assumed I had misunderstood and moved on. I went back and got the cleaning, which was thorough and well done. A few weeks later I got a bill that said it was past due and included an interest charge, but not only had I never received the first bill, I had been assured my cleaning was covered at 100%. When I called they told me that was not the case, and they only file with insurance as a courtesy to patients after the appointment anyway. I am still very confused.

Dental Hygienist Cindy took the time and really explained my gum disease and how we are going to resolve it. She also walked me through gum care and different options/techniques that I can use at home. My gums are very sensitive, so she takes her time cleaning them so I'm not in pain.

But from the staff that greeted me to the last staff member I spoke to was the best dental experience I have ever had. They were so professional but super friendly. Dr. McIntosh and her team are top notch. I've been one of her patients since 2011 and can't say enough great things about her work (she sees our entire family and several of our friends). She's conservative and is going to suggest what is in the patient's best interest. You'll find the customer service and genuine decency of her staff to be first rate.

Folks I’m a creature of habit. So when learning my dentist of 13 years in Lewisville was leaving for a new office an 1 hour away, I said I’m following you! I had to backtrack months later, upon discovering the new office doesn’t accept insurance.
I did extensive research, for a female dentist, with good reviews, accepted insurance and near my home/work. I landed on Dr. McIntosh. I was impressed on my 1st interaction with the office on how warm they were in making my appointment and guiding me in the transition. Even more impressed upon arrival at a sparkly new building 10 minutes from home and warm greeting with receptionist. Still was apprehensive and thought a diamond could be cubic zirconia so let’s wait for final opinion. Then I met Cindy/hygienist (forgive me if I got the name wrong) who’s a rockstar in her field and experienced with a personality to match. She did a great job inspecting & cleaning my teeth along with some advice on an outstanding issue I had with a previous dental claim, since she used to manage a dental office in the past. Then Dr.McIntosh came in who was friendly, comforting and experienced noticing I needed to get a filling done on a tooth that was worked on from my previous dentist. The procedure was completed under 5 minutes and the tooth looked even better than when I walked in.
Final conclusion: Dr. McIntosh and Distinguished Dental team is a real Diamond with the highest clarity! I found my new tooth fairy and change can be not only good but great!

When I needed a new dentist, I read some reviews and decided to give Distinguished Dental a try. I had high expectations after reading the reviews and the staff exceeded my expectations! From the front office staff that made me feel welcome to the medical staff who were professional, efficient, and caring (Jordan is a phenomenal hygienist) to the doctor and office manager who were appreciative of my business. Could not have possibly had a better experience
