It is with a heavy heart that I make this review. I will preface the negativity with some positivity: the cleanings, and exams I got were fantastic, and I never had a problem with them. There is a great level of professionalism here, as well. Also, the fillings I got (which is the source of my negativity) were absolutely painless to get, and the procedure was quick as well. That leads me into the bad: the aftercare of the fillings has been atrocious. I got two teeth filled, one has done great, the other had given me a lot of grief. The day of, once the numbness wore off, I noticed a tiny hole in my tooth. The next day, the spot where the hole is started to hurt when I bit down on things. After a week or so of dealing with this, thinking maybe I just needed to adjust, I called and made an appointment. The dentist I saw was one I had never seen before. She told me essentially I still needed to adjust, but still ground out a bit of the composite/tooth in that super sensitive spot thinking if the bite was adjusted, it would help. It actually did for a day or so, but then it got worse. I haven't been able to chew anything on the side with the fillings, and now it hurts when I brush my teeth, when I breathe with my mouth open and of course when I chew, along with just account constantly now. When something accidentally hits that tooth, I'm almost in tears. I make yet another appointment, requesting the doctor who actually did the fillings. I got an appointment that day (thank you for that!) and saw another completely new doctor. Off the bat, the doctor seemed to not take me very seriously, and told me I probably wasn't adjusted yet. She did an exam, and said she found nothing, no decay or anything clinically wrong. I told her I know she wouldn't find decay, explained that there was a small home, that I thought some more composite might help, and that I am trying to stay ahead of any possible decay. She then got an explorer, and kind of checked my tooth, all while informing me that "poor oral hygiene" can lead to pain, and essentially suck it up. I have never been more embarrassed, and so upset that in two visits no one would listen to me, and kept sending me away with an exposed nerve, and in a great deal of pain. All I got was a recommendation for an endodontist, as I might have a crack in my tooth, or some such. So now I have to go through the ordeal of finding a brand new dentist to get this filling fixed, as the pain is getting worse by the day. As I said before, I loved this place until this issue came about, and I just wish that I had been listened to, instead of told to just deal with it, in so many words.

Awesome customer service. The staff is great, the doctors are better! Very caring and good with us dental wimps out there. They are so kind and have a huge toy closet for the kids ! They for sure are better than any other place on the island. Love this place

Today I was not pleased with my care. I had a 12:00 appointment, dentist came in, gave me several options for a filling in front tooth ie: fill it, file it down or leave it alone. But she couldn’t do it until 1:30, she had another patient. So what I don’t understand is: I thought I had an appointment and I was the patient. Apparently not so I opted to leave.

The staff at Gulfside Dental is amazing. Dr. Davis is honest and transparent. Dawn is experienced and good advice. Peppermint Patty is gentle and funny. I like the team at Gulfside and I think others will too.

I am a big dentist chicken. I have issues with needle and pain. One evening last week I was happily enjoying a snack, until my tooth broke. So, next midmorning I start hunting dental clinics. I find Gulfside Dental which is close to my house, takes my insurance and has an appointment I take that day. The staff was professional, kind and made the process incredibly easy. Dr. Rodriguez was gentle and explained everything I needed to know and put me and my anxiety at ease, mostly. I do believe that I have found my new dental home.

After over a year, I am told I owe around $50 because "they screwed up" on the billing and "their old manager messed up and was fired." When I received a detailed statement, it looks like insurance settled a month after my visit ; waiting over a year without ever contacting me directly then using a third party to try and collect the balance is unacceptable. I will not be coming back.

I really really love this office out of all the dental office's I been to this really wins the prize 😊. They take time with u and value the time with the pt, I never felt like I was being rush for my own visit. The girls in the front as well the assistants were super nice and answer all my questions and concerns. Prices are amazingly affordable and the office is super adorable. They even have a whole closet for the toys to give to the kids!!! 😁. I wanna thank the manager Lauren and Dr. Matouk as Dr. DeMarco for being super nice and make me feel comfortable. Yall should check out Ms. Burcu the hygienist as well, she did an amazing job with my cleaning and explain to me the risk of perio disease. Thank you all, staff of GulfSide Dental for everything!! I will be seeing y'all every 6 months. 💜
