Even though going to the dentist can be daunting or scary, the staff at Champions Dental made everything easy. From the front office staff to Dr. Garza, everyone here is top notch. The service was excellent and the bedside manor is second to none.

Second visit with Champions Dental. First one was six months ago. They wanted to take x-rays (AGAIN!!). I said no. She said, "Oh, so you only want to have x-rays taken once a year?" I feel that even once a year is too often, since I'm a fanatic about flossing, brushing, etc. Haven't had a cavity in over 30 years! (or more)
Then she takes my blood pressure (134/79). She asks me, "Do you have high blood pressure?" to which I responded no. Well (with an emphasis on the word "well"), 79 is excellent, but 134 is really bad. I don't need a dental hygienist to tell me what is good and what is bad when it comes to blood pressure readings. It was probably higher because she wanted to take x-rays when they weren't needed!!! Then she commented on the little bit of staining that I had and asked what type of toothbrush I use (I use Sonicare) and continued to tell me that I need to brush better in certain areas. Really? I need someone to tell me how to brush my teeth? She asked me if I drink coffee and I said "yes, and wine too!". What.....am I supposed to run to the bathroom and brush my teeth immediately after consuming a dark liquid???? Geez, give me a break. She was like interrogating me on every aspect of dental hygiene. I will not have her clean my teeth again, that's for sure! She did do a good job on my cleaning though. I will give her that. Just don't like her bedside manner.

Dr Garza and his staff are first class! He is very professional, competent and treats his patients with care and excellence. My wife and daughter also go to him and I highly recommend him to others. If you’re looking for a dentist, look no further....Champions Dental can’t be beat!

First of all, I have to say how impressed I was by receiving a call the night before my new patient appointment from Dr. Garza welcoming me to the office. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly, my cleaning was a very nice and pleasant experience the hygienist was great!!! Working on getting my husband scheduled for his appointment as well.. would definitely recommend Champions Dental.

I was very happy to meet Dr. Garza. He's very personable, as well as knowledgeable. He came into the waiting room to introduce himself before I even went back to see the hygienist. His predecessor didn't really want to help me with a chipped front tooth UNTIL I GOT BRACES and everything was aligned. (I'm over 65 so that isn't a priority to me any longer!). Dr. Garza addressed the tooth before I had to, and suggested what could be done. He seems very thorough, and, as much as I dislike going to the dentist (!), I really like him and will continue being a patient of his.
