I have had implants, dental surgery, cleaning, the works. I love it here because the student does the work under the supervision of a professor.

So far I showed up in so much pain. Was #10. Total 14. Everyone is in there and none seemed in pain and I'm still sitting 2 hours into the wait. Soo guess we'll I don't know I just want the pain to stop but still waiting

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Went in to get my teeth pulled and get a pair of dentures made. When they pulled my teeth and flattened the bone out they botched that surgery and had to re due the surgery eight weeks later. The school took another 10 months to produce a pair of awful dentures that have never fit me and have all ways looked hideous. During these months I was left with no teeth as I watched the school go on Christmas, spring break,summer and every other break imaginable to mankind. I would have rated the school with a negative review but don't think they will post it. Please think long and hard before you subject yourself to allowing a bunch of trainees to work on your mouth and even worse you could end up with the student that is in the lower half of the class. The school is mainly concerned about their agendas rather than the health and well-being of their patients.

i WENT THERE FOR IMPLANT SURGERY AND THEY DID IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE DUE TO UNTRAINED DOCTOR.
YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE SAME DOCTOR, ONE GRADUATES, THEN YOU GET THE NEXT STUDENT.
YOU TAKE A BIG GAMBLE .
THE MONEY YOU SAVE WILL DOUBLE WHEN YOU HAVE TO GO TO A REGULAR SPECIALIST.
DURING MY IMPLANT SURGERY THE STUDENT PUNCHES A WHOLE THRU MY SINUS MEMBRANE.
THEY TRIED TO CLOSE THE HOLE THREE TIMES , COULD NOT CLOSE IT.
IT TOOK A SPECIALIST AND 2000$.
NOW I AM NOT ABLE TO HAVE IMPLANTS DUE TO THAT.
THE SUPERVISION OF THE PROFESSORS IS VERY POOR.

I have had my daughter's braces and retainer at their Orthodontist office on the third floor. Very Happy Very qualified and careful students Mind you these students are one year from Graduation.I have had a bridge and a two caps my dentist was overly cautious and had a professor sit in on the last visit that made her more confident and I am sure a wonderful dentist.

I have been going to the school of dentistry for multiple years for different things. Primarily cleanings, but I have inquired about orthodontic work as well.
The school has two big bonuses, affordable care and thorough work. Something to keep in mind is you are dealing with students primarily, who are supervised and consult with professors during your visit, as well as having their work checked every step of the way.
I've never had a bad experience with the school or any of the students who have cleaned my teeth or done fillings for cavities. In fact, I've had old fillings from my childhood replaced at the school. All of the fillings I had replaced at the school have never caused me any problems. Old childhood fillings I had replaced by a private practice dentist in early 2018 were overly sensitive for most of the year (including after they tried to fix it).
Frankly should have just gone to the school to have them replaced, since they would have done it for cheaper and with more care.

Ella answered the phone after an extended hold. She mumbled, talked way to soft and was rude. I wanted the basic price for teeth cleaning. I was told, after several times of having to have her repeat her mumble, an $80.00 to $100.00 assessment would be done and that was the only price she would give me over the phone. I know I would definitely need an assessment, cleaning and some X-rays. I don't need the cost of the X-rays, just a cleaning cost, "No we do not give that out over the phone." My daughter is a physician, so I try and support the teaching environment, well sorry I will go back to my old dentist and take my "new to Houston area family" there also.
