Sorry long post but it could help other moms I would like to tell you a bit about what my son had been struggling and how a faster diagnosis could have prevented so much. So, my son is SUPER MEGA HYPERACTIVE, he will not take a nap unless he is SUPER MEGA SICK… he is always getting strep throat or allergies, his tonsils are always huge… I am not exaggerating when I say that I haven’t slept through a full night sinc he was born, 6 almost 7 years ago, because he wakes up throughout the night.
He started having teeth problem since he was like 2 years old.. now, he was my first child, so you know I was always on top of his hygiene and everything. I never had cavities until after my second pregnancy. So I’m really strict with mouth hygiene. But anyways, he has lots of silver teeth, and a big gap between his front teeth and now he has a big cavity in his adult molar.
I told the dentist the only difference between him and my daughter is that I let him drink dairy milk and he got all his fluoride at the dentist visits and she doesn’t drink milk or has gotten the fluoride.
The dentist told me, if I didn’t change something at home, he would have REALLY BAD TEETH (which he does already) and this was like 2-3 weeks ago.
That weekend I went to a little festival pediatrics express had and I decided to try another dentist. LUNA DENTAL
We went two weeks ago and I explained to DR. Moon everything I mentioned above. He examined him and started questioning me.
“Does he snore ?” Yes
“Is he hyper active? “Yes
“Does he suffer from allergies” yes
And a few other questions
Then he explained to me he has a tongue tie and sent me to a specialist.. the specialist told me a lot of times pediatricians or psychologists call it ADHD but it’s actually the kids can’t close their mouth right so, they don’t get enough sleep, and when you don’t get enough sleep you can’t focus and you are a bit “crazy” when your mouth is always open it gets dry and so it’s easier for you to get cavities and allergies, strep and all that.. and it all makes so much sense!
And a lot of us don’t know, and it’s so sad because our kids are getting so many different medicines that they may not even need.. they get diagnosed so many different things but yet we don’t get to the root of the problem.. so many cavities and strep and allergies could have been prevented in my case, so many sleepless nights.. and I’m just so thankful that my new dentist took the time to listen to me, and look at my son and actually do something,
I am super grateful with Dr. Moon and all his attentive staff.. I will definitely be going with them for my whole family.. thank you ! 🙏🏻

Excellent professional service from Dr. Soto and all dental technicians. Their office manager is very friendly. I loved that they have a movie room for kids, exam rooms, and separate treatment rooms. Their technology is very helpful in understanding our dental hygiene and recommending treatment plans. My husband and I will absolutely come back!

I brought my daughter to Luna Dental as a new patient and we absolutely loved it. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. There was a temperature check done before we were seen and a sanitizer station. We plan on returning to Luna Dental on a regular basis for our cleanings and check ups. Dr. Soto you have done such a great job. We appreciate your work. I highly recommend this place.

The Luna dental is a new office in the area, very well equipped, beautiful and chic dental office with thoroughly professional staff who are very polite and friendly.
I have been to numerous dentists in my life but believe me this is the best dental office you can visit in town, they have the magic touch to take care of your dental issues and they are super friendly yet very professional.
I highly recommend Dr Soto and Dr Moon to everyone. You got to go to office and see it yourself.

Really professional and kind staff. Loved the office manager and the dentist. They explained everything in detail and the dentist kept stopping while working on my teeth to ask how I was doing. I will definitely be going back and plan on bringing my kids here as well.
