Smithson Valley Family Dentistry

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new dentist, and I came across this practice. We scheduled an appointment for him (he was the guinea pig ;D ) and he came back home really happy about his visit. He said “you have to schedule your appointment literally right now, you’re going to like this practice”. So I went ahead and scheduled my appointment. I’ll say that for the first time ever he was right. I left my visit feeling extremely happy and pleased with everything. The staff and the doctors were very nice and informative. I was very comfortable and pleased with them.
I’m happy that we finally found a practice that we both like.

I’ve always had a great experience every time I go. I get very nervous before my dental appointments because I have sensitive teeth. Each hygienist I have seen has been so good about being careful with sensitive areas or at least warning me when they’re about to work on those spots (at my request). The doc is great and always has a warm and welcoming attitude. I’m very happy with my experience at Smithson Valley Family Dentistry.

Dr Wright and his team are amazing. Kind from checking in at the front desk, in the treatment chairs to the check out. Assistants are very knowledgeable. They have a beautiful facility and state-of-the-art equipment. Great to have them in the bulverde/spring branch area!

Great dentist and staff. Getting teeth cleaned is never fun, in my opinion, but they made it comfortable and painless. They did thorough work and included me in what they were doing. I will be back for my next cleaning.

I love SV Family Dentistry, from the people up front to the hygienist to the dentist himself. Everyone is always so welcoming and he is always honest and fair. Great place for anyone of any age. Highly recommend.

I made an appointment for my son and I for 11/30/22 back on 9/19/22, two months in advance so I could take off from work. They said they took our insurance but to send the card ahead to confirm. I sent a copy of the insurance on 10/18/22, over a month before the appointment. On the morning of our appointments, 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave, they called to say that they might not take our insurance but weren't sure. They told us we could still come but gave a large, possible out of pocket cost. Since we didn't want to pay out of pocket when we had insurance, they said they would get back to us to let us know. We never heard from them. I must have gotten dozens of text and emails reminders about our appointments, such a waste of time.

This was my new patient visit and so far I am very pleased with my decision. The hygienist was very professional and personable. Dr Wright answered all my questions and explained what to expect on my next visit when I will be having more extensive work done.
Second visit was just as great as my first one. Great staff and didn't even feel my numbing shot!!!

I moved into the area and this was my first visit to this dentist office and it was great! The hygienist and dentist were both so patient and kind. I would recommend them to everyone!!!

Amazing staff! Beautiful facility! The hygienist always makes my kids feel so comfortable despite their fear of dentists due to previous experiences with another facility. We love this place!
