Doctor Godfrey and his staff are incredibly kind and the office is clean and comfortable. He approaches every tooth as a unique problem-solving scenario, applying solutions from a deep well of knowledge. He is friendly and amiable, taking time to get to know his clients while they can still use their mouths. Doctor Godfrey is very considerate of the challenges facing dental work with small children and handles kids very well, short of procedures that require full sedation, (for which the office is not equipped).
With everything going on these last few years things are tight for many, but Doctor Godfrey continually seeks to give us the best possible recommendations that include lower cost alternatives. The doctor and his wife Jill have been incredibly accommodating, taking time out of their weekends to provide emergency after hours support in sending antibiotic prescriptions and formulating plans for emergency care. Doctor Godfrey was even willing to come in on a weekend in the late afternoon/early night to resolve a broken tooth.
For a family who doesn’t necessarily have the best of oral hygiene habits, Godfrey and staff have continually shown no judgment whatsoever and given us only the best best of care at a minimum cost.
Lifetime Family does take insurance and will maximize your payment potential while also providing in-house payment plans. Billing has been incredibly easy and assessed through a human lens that allows customization to any situation.
Thank you, Chris Godfrey, family, and staff. Our family is safe and healthier for the efforts to which yours will go. This office is highly recommended.

I was greeted with kindness and warmth. The experience of Dr. Godfrey getting to know me and my real concerns was helpful. He didn't just read my paperwork but treated me like a person with real needs and concerns. He provided great service and also helpful education so I could feel more empowered over my personal dental care. The hygienist who helped me was kind, honest, and really down to earth. My anxieties heading in to a new dentist were assuaged and I look forward to future check ins there.

I’m super thankful for Dr. Godfrey! He was able to get my toddler in quickly and fill her cavity the same day so it didn’t become a bigger issue. She felt relaxed and comfortable and well taken care of. Dr. G and his assistant worked quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend this place, even for your little ones. Thank you so much!

Dr. Godfrey was so detailed and thorough. He talked about my options and I loved his more conservative approach for treatment. I really appreciate that! Felt good about the direction we took it.

I do a lot of research when choosing a new provider and while Google reviews are helpful, I prefer going to community FB groups and searching past posts to find reviews.
Especially when a business has an unusually high rating on Google. It’s rare for this to happen authentically as most people are more driven to leave a review when they feel wronged then they are when everything goes right. But I saw countless positive reviews about this dentist in those groups on FB - I never came across anything negative.
Having a good bedside manner does not make you a good doctor. I worked in animal medicine for almost ten years, and often the vets practicing excellent medicine were the most unpleasant to be around. Many friendly ones had a great personality, but they practiced subpar medicine. I had high hopes that this dentist was the rare unicorn with the whole package.
I have high anxiety anyway, but the dentist is probably my least favorite kind of provider to visit (which I know is true for a lot of people). The other issue is money - my husband and I knew what we would both need dental work for was not going to be covered well by insurance.
We own a small business that has struggled financially over the last year, so paying 1000s of dollars out of pocket was out of the question. We didn’t want to waste our time being told what we already knew. Having an expert inform us that our teeth were in trouble and it was going to cost a lot wasn’t necessary - we already knew this.
I ended up having a cavity bad enough that I had to go in for an “emergency visit”. They squeezed me in despite not knowing me and not really having space for me because I hadn’t slept in two days as the pain was so bad. I needed a root canal. We informed him we didn’t have funds for a crown, so he spent hours performing the root canal and sculpting a filling (I don’t know dental terms - I think this is what it’s called) that would be more likely to last until we could come up with the funds for a crown.
I was a complete stranger when he did this for me. He went out of his way to make sure I was ok. He also agreed to do a payment plan for us, which if he hadn’t I would have been screwed.
When I worked in animal medicine we didn’t offer payment plans. Historically the vast majority of clients would not pay these back, and vet clinics go bankrupt trying to do the “right” thing by offering payment plans.
Even when a bill goes to collections…much of the money is not received by the provider as it goes to the collections agency. Doing business this way will not pay the bills for that clinic. This means a business is taking a big risk when they are willing to go this route for you, which is why my family does our best to honor that.
I’m not familiar with dentistry so my personal experience is all I can base my opinion on. I’ve always felt informed, empowered, and respected. The work he’s done seems excellent and I appreciate the fact that he’s willing to work towards a solution with us.
I shared my fears and reservations with him and he honored my requests. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, and was patient in answering my questions. He offered to get me in at 7 PM once when I had a crown (placed by another provider) broke.
I also appreciate how he’s handled my children. They’re young (4 & 6) and justifiably terrified of the dentist. He has stayed patient and kind and provides a prize once they’re done. He treats them like real people - answering questions and is respectful of their wishes.
The office staff are always kind and patient and go the extra mile. Insurance has been a pain but they are ready and willing to work through those issues with us while keeping a smile on their face. They are always efficient and we have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to be taken back.
TLDR; the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Everything about the experiences we’ve had is excellent, and I’d recommend Dr. Godfrey to everyone.
