Spainhower Dental Care

My husband went to Dr Spainhower to get dentures. Best choice ever. The Doc and his staff are the best. They take time to list and explain all concerns. Very friendly and family oriented. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Love Dr Dave! He and his staff are courteous and helpful. I actually like going to the dentist. He even recently let me have a massage in the massage chair! Recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Dave and crew are AWESOME! They truly care about you and your dental health and work spectacularly with scheduling. Will work with you on any kinds of concerns and fears we all experience with dentistry in general. They are a great bunch!

Dr. Spainhower's office is awesome!! The dentist & staff members are very friendly & nice!! DDS Dave Spainhower gives the BEST shots ever! I never feel a thing with his awesome technique of administering a shot for whatever procedure he's numbing me up for!! Kudos to the entire staff!! I have found my new dentist. I have the worst anxiety when it comes to dentists, so the fact that they could sedate me and not charge me out the rear is amazing.

I had to have two root canal’s done and get two crowns right in the front of my mouth and get a tooth pulled. There’s no way on gods green earth that I could have that done consciously, without killing someone. I went to a endodontist back in November who I thought was going to be great and can do everything I needed, took me a month to get in for a consultation, told me every other dentist doesn’t know how to do their job and that he’s the best, told me it would be $400 to sedate me and $100 to reserve the appointment in a week. That all would’ve been nice to know a month ahead of time instead of saying you have one week to get up $500 base pay. The endodontist also told me that he would inject my face with antibiotics because I had an abscess, and then I’d have to come back in a month later to have him pull out that antibiotic and finish up my root canals.

I told him that I need to get everything done by the end the year (2017) to use up all my insurance and not start the new year 2018 with all of my used up insurance. He also told me he couldn’t pull my tooth so I’d have to go somewhere else get knocked out again, and pay to have that tooth pulled out. He just seemed more inclined to make a sale on me. I left his office disgusted, full of anxiety due to the fact that because I had to wait a month to get in there were two weeks left in the year to use up $1800 in insurance. I will never recommend that endodontist ever.

When I found Dr. Spainhower, I don’t think I’ve had a better visit at the dentist in my life. I went in for a consultation, he explained everything that would happen, everything that could happen, and didn’t leave anything out. I have never had a dentist so honest and open with me. His staff were even able to give me a potential cost of what I would have to pay after insurance during the consultation. Which was very helpful with making a decision on whether not to go through with it. They were also able to get me in and everything done before my insurance renewed for 2018 which save me from having to use up all of my insurance at the beginning of the year and being screwed if I had to have something done some other time in the year.

When I went in to have my procedure done, everything went smoothly, he drugged me up, Let me relax on the couch to let them kick in. He let my husband stay in the room with me the whole thing and my mother-in-law and my brother in let me relax on the couch to let them kick in. Dr. Spainhower took care of me. He made sure that I was completely comfortable before he started anything. He is a very mellow, gentle guy. I have been to several dentists in the past and have left with awful experiences. Not this time!!!! I went in expecting the worst and left very confident in what the plan was.

I went in about a month and a half after to get my permanent crowns on. His assistant was fantastic. They could tell I was having anxiety issues and were able to keep me calm. We were also able to work out a plan to pay the remainder of my bill.

Becky who is usually at the front office is an absolute sweetheart. She gives off great vibes and she’s kind of got a motherly comfort about her. She’s wonderful.

I’ve ranted on a bit, but I will recommend Dr. Spainhower forever and already have.they are wonderful and can get you in quickly. Thank you Dr. Spainhower and your staff!!

If we could rate more stars we would!! Our family has been going to Dr Dave for 15 yrs. We wouldn't go anyplace else.... 9 yrs ago we moved to Utah County. We make the drive all the way up to Layton because he is such a great dentist! We recommend this office to all of our friends.

Had dentures put in. Way too big doesn’t fit at all. He will not fix them right. He should pay to have teeth remade. He messed up and should fix it. Will never tell anyone about you. I will never recommend You. Ive turned people away. I’ve went back multiple times You still have not fixed my teeth. They are not right and you should make it right without anymore money.
