A Perfect Smile

I was traveling from southern Utah to to northern Utah and my crown popped loose, I called perfect smile and they had me scheduled 2 hrs. Later on the same day. Dr. Blane Jackson had my crown re attached and I was happily going back down the road. I paid as a cash customer and the services rendered were very affordable and all of the staff were very sweet, kind and professional. I highly recommend perfect smile dentistry!.

Overall, I feel our family has had a good experience with the staff of “A Perfect Smile.” This is our 3rd time getting our 6 month cleanings and checkups. Today’s appointment did not go as I hoped. I feel that several things could be improved with our experience. Things felt so rushed, that the dentist came in without me knowing he was behind me and I heard him speaking with the dental hygienist about the need for a crown. I did not know what a crown was, as I’ve never had one before and I was very upset that they were not talking directly to me, especially when I realized they were discussing me. Finally he did address me and spoke about the need for a crown, but he never actually looked inside my mouth to confirm what he was seeing on the X-rays. I mentioned it to several staff and although they appeared surprised, they didn’t actually solve my problem and say “Here, you sit down in this chair, we will have him come in to see you when he is available.” Later I found out that a crown will cost me over $900. A procedure recommended without an actual exam? Without even confirming it by actually looking at the tooth that has the problems. In addition, if you can obviously tell that a person has never had a crown before, then maybe you should take some time to gently explain it to them, since it might be a shock to them. My 5 children were also seen and were treated well, however I’m not a big fan of having to ask about the cavities and details and how things look in their mouths. With our previous pediatric dentist, the parents were always welcomed over and the dentist was happy to explain concerns/needs and where the child and the parent could spend more time flossing or brushing. The parent never needed to ask or feel like an inconvenience... it was just part of the normal 6 month checkup. Also, we waited for about 25 minutes after we were all done, to make future appointments and understand costs, because two or three people were helped in front of us. It wasn’t a huge deal, it just made me feel like others were more important than us.

Dr esplin never even introduced himself I had to ask him twice what his name was.when I went to ask him a question he continued walked out only time he spoke was to tell the nurse what codes to use for the insurance

The attitude of the staff is good overall. However, they don't listen. My daughter needed two fillings. I told them to use composite, I was paying for it after all. My child, my money, they need to listen to me. They told me that they would use the composite, and they DIDN'T! They used amalgam fillings. We will never be going back to them.

The best of the best!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!! The staff is warm, friendly, and professional. The hygienist is thorough and gentle. The doctors are the absolute best in the business! They are fast, and painless. I am always treated with kindness and respect. I would recommend A Perfect Smile to anyone that wants a 5 star experience from their dentist!

I worked in the dental field for 10 years. This was the first office I visited since moving to Price. I was very unimpressed. I was told I could have a “free implant consultation”, that ended up being about 2 minutes with a dentist (who was not the dentist I was told I’d be seeing) and was a huge waste of time. I left with no more information than I went in with. Felt like I was being treated as dollar signs and nothing more. Went to another office close by (Dr. Lowe) and they were AMAZING. I will not return to Perfect Smile, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

You missed 5 cavities on my xray… and I didn’t need surgical cleaning. I saved 700.00 going elsewhere. Why did you over look those cavities. There was literally a cavity right next to the tooth you put a crown on!!!!Now I gotta get poked with those needles all over again. Update…. 6 months later my crown still hurts!!!!!!!!! No root canal was done… I’m never getting a crown ever again!!!!! Waste of money!!!!!! I guess I will just have the tooth pulled. It was probably not put on correct!

They are quite rude and undisciplined. I didn't like the way they treated me, I won't recommend it to anyone.

The office and staff are great! Both my children, my husband and I had great visits! They have great plan options for no insurance. Cheaper than paying a monthly dental plan for our family of four.
