Get a second opinion! Yikes! I visited in December as a new patient, my main concern was getting a night guard for jaw pain. I left with multiple "cavities", "periodontal disease" and my full dental xray benefits exhausted. Upon leaving my dental visit, I wasn't scheduled for another visit, I was told I would get a follow up call- five months later, still radio silence.
At first I was upset about the lack of follow up. But thank goodness, because I was able to get a second opinion and real dental treatment.

Dr Carter and his team took great care of me and my teeth yesterday. I appreciated the thorough exam, and how they all listened to my concerns, and provided helpful tips. They were able to get all dental work done in one sitting. They were all on top of it and I didn't have to wait. I will highly recommend to family and friends. Thanks so much! See you guys in 6 months.

If you have high anxiety about dentist visits or have felt judged before by other dentist please come to this office the staff is so nice just the sweetest people. They put my anxiety at easy and i was able to get a new crown same day. They all work together like a well oiled machine to get you in and out but constantly asking if you're doing ok if anything hurts you raise your hand. This is the first dentist office I have ever truly felt comfortable in.

Dr. Smith is a wonderful dentist. Getting shots from her was less painful than it has been with other dentists in the past, and she never gave me a guilt trip or was the least bit condescending. I metabolize anesthesia quickly. I tell every dentist I go to this, but they never believe me, so I can usually feel everything at the end of a procedure. Dr. Smith took my pain seriously and gave me enough anesthetic to keep me comfortable. My anxiety about going to the dentist has plummeted since I came here. The office staff and hygienists are excellent as well. I've never been to a dentist office I actually liked, and I never thought I would. Finding this place is such a relief.

Dental work usually makes me very nervous but Dentists of Riverton handled everything in a very professional, affordable, and time sensitive manner. I was impressed with how quickly my inlays could get scheduled. They have many flexible payment plans and from what I could see were accepting of a wide-range of insurance options. The staff was courteous and polite. The benefits coordinator was outstanding with going over the multitude of options that were available! The hygienists were great and thorough. Dr. McAffee was exceptional in diagnosing and providing treatment very effectively and quickly. I doubt I'll have further issues with my teeth but if the need arises I'll know where to turn. It's convenient that they're located right off of Mountain View in Riverton and have sensible hours!

Dr. Carter is great at what he does and has amazing attention to detail. He cares for his patients and does his best to provide them with the highest quality work. The dental assistants are also very accommodating and good at their jobs!

Very nice friendly people. Very clean office. They are the best we have ever had.

Dr. Carter has been great. He always makes sure the military paperwork I need filled out gets done and takes great care of me. Even despite a mechanical pump failure he made sure I was able to get my treatment done that same day!

First of all, I am never one to write reviews, so I would take this pretty seriously. This dentists office (specifically Kerri Smith) is a JOKE. My husband and I were new patients and they made both of us feel that our dental health was in HORRIBLE condition. I was in tears because I take my dental health so seriously. I was a dental assistant for a few years and I know that I take good care of my teeth, but they told me I needed "lasering" for my gums because they were in such bad condition. I was guilted into it and decided to do it. I left the office feeling horrible, but that isn't the worst of it. My husband went in at the beginning of July and they told him that he had TEN cavities and they all must be filled ASAP. They pressured him into getting it done that day but I told him to get up and leave. My husband has never had a cavity in his life, and all of the sudden he has 10? They also told him that he needed to have his gums lasered and that he needed major dental repair. I felt that they had taken advantage of us so I decided to visit another dentist. My husband had one cavity. ONE. We decided to visit ANOTHER dentist just to be sure, and the 3rd dentist said the same thing, only ONE cavity. This office will do anything to scam you out of money. STAY AWAY.

My appointment with Dr. Stearman and Maddy as the hygienist was the most thorough, comfortable, gentle experience I have ever had at the dentist. I appreciated how the staff was so kind and took the time to answer any questions I had.
Lauren as the receptionist was also adept at making sure everything was covered by my insurance.
I will definitely be back, and I would highly recommend!
