I lost my tooth because of Fort Union Family Dental. I was in a sever pain. My tooth had been infected and I needed an urgent root canal. When I called in I had clearly let them know how long I had been in severe pain which was for 5 days and what I needed an appointment for. I made an appointment with Fort Union Family Dental for a ROOT CANAL. However when I went there, the Doctor refused to do a root canal saying that he did not have enough time on that day and did not not have time the day after which was a Friday. They wanted me to wait another 5 days with my tooth being severely infected until next week to schedule another appointment and they did not even give me any kind of antibiotics. There was no way for me to wait that long with the type of pain I had. Therefore, I went and called other dental clinics while having a severe toothache, trying to schedule an appointment for a root canal. I was not able to schedule another appointment with other clinics due to them being full till next week. On that day, I eventually had to walk in to Roseman Dental school, where they treat emergency situations. At Rosman dental school, dental students don't Perform a root canal on upper teeth since its close to the sinuses and its very risky . The only option they told me I had was to get my tooth extracted. I was desperate for a treatment and I ended up having to extract my tooth all because Fort Union Family dental refused to treat me as they said they would. Fort Union Family Dental just waisted my time, they could have told me that in the very beginning when I was scheduling an appointment that they would not perform a root canal. I lost my time and chance of being able to schedule with another clinic for a root canal because I waisted my time with Fort Union Family Dental. Now, I'm still getting a bill from Fort Union Family dental asking me to pay them for refusing to treat me and causing me to lose my tooth. I wanted to share with everyone what I actually went through because of Fort Union Family Dental.

Fort Union Family Dental is by far my favorite dental office and will be my families primary dental service from now on. I was real self conscious about my teeth and look of them. But they didn't make me feel bad at all. Everyone was super friendly and treated me like family. Starting from the front desk, to the dental assistant to the dental hygienist all the way to the main Doctor. I recommend everyone to come check them out!!

This is an awesome office that had great vibes and great people. Dr Larsen is very gentle and skilled at what he does, he talks you through everything and cares about his patients. I have been having him do my dental work for the last 10 years. I very much dislike any dental experience however with Dr Larsen and his staff are very much on their game and my experience has been exceptional. Recommend them 100%.

I started seeing Dr. Blackhurst about 8 years ago. He does an amazing job and is very personable and easy to talk to. Recently I've been seeing his team member Dr. Jennifer Sorge and she is absolutely amazing! She goes above and beyond and really cares about her work. I will continue to drive an hour from Tooele to see these 2. I am forever a customer.

Dr. Larsen is the best. Previously, when I've had fillings, my teeth would hurt for days afterward. That has never been the case with Dr. Larsen. They always seem to keep up with the newest technology and techniques. Plus all of the staff are super friendly! Even after I moved away from the area, I kept going to Fort Union Family Dental because I love Dr. Larsen and his staff!

Todd Larsen has been a very close personal friend for quite some time. I have to consider him not just a very kind understanding person but is and has become skilled and professional dentist. The other Hygenists, assistants and dentists are great people as well and very skilled at their profession.

Unbelievable! Tried calling to get an appointment and being a new patient was asking questions to make sure my insurance was accepted but ended up getting rushed off the phone. Receptionist made me feel like I was taking up her time by calling in to make a new patient appointment. Why ask for my insurance information if you they’re going to rush me off the phone and not even offer to make an appointment.
