One of my teeth was proving overly sensitive to hot or cold food and drink. I recalled a similar situation 20 years earlier (with another dental clinic) when the prescribed regimen was a root canal, and ultimately an extraction and implant. Very costly! I immediately called Sandy Dental, and in a snap I had an appointment. I was met by a new and friendly staff, had several x-rays, followed by a thorough examination. The result? All was well, just a sensitive tooth or gum irritation, possibly the result of overly aggressive flossing. Problem solved. Extremely competent and HONEST dentistry.

I began going to Sandy Dental Center in 2007/2008. For years, I saw Dr. LaFeber and had a substantial amount of dental work completed without any issues. Recently I chipped a tooth in addition to having some problems with my bottom teeth due to my cancer treatment. Since Dr. LaFeber is no longer working at Sandy Dental Center, I had 2 choices, one either drive to his clinic in Herriman or see a new dentist. I was scheduled to see Dr. Scott Stringham. Upon meeting Dr. Stringham, I felt very comfortable with him. He was able to fix my chipped tooth in about 5 minutes in addition, he made further recommendations for additional treatment that I’ll need to have done in the near future. I really enjoyed my visit and didn’t even need to have my mouth numbed. I would definitely recommend Dr. Stringham to anyone looking for a new dentist.
