Dentists of South Jordan and Orthodontics

I had an onlay yesterday by Dr McAfee. No problems or pain whatsoever. Dr McAfee and his staff are great. They are friendly, caring and professional. I've had many cleanings and two crowns in the past and have been very pleased. I highly recommend Dentists of South Jordan.

Dentists of South Jordan has been taking care of my husband and I for over two years. We have had nothing but great experiences with them. Dr. McAffee is kind, patient, and thorough. He always does a great job of explaining procedures. Caralee in the office is so warm and helpful. Love this office and could not recommend them enough!

4/26/2022 Update: We are still going to this office and still think they do a great job of taking care of our families teeth. Currently, we see Dr McAffee and appreciate the way he explains everything that he needs to do and he makes sure we are comfortable with the procedures.

We needed a new dentist and chose Dr. Alexander Harris at the South Jordan. I brought myself and my 3 kids in for a regular cleaning and we were all happy with our treatment. Two of us needed fillings — and they had appointments open that same day to take care of those! That’s a bonus for a busy family.

Dr. Harris listened to concerns and did a thorough job. I didn’t feel like I was being forced into any treatments, but I was given options to consider that may be beneficial for the future of my teeth. Overall, I am very happy with Dr. Harris and the office staff and we will be returning to this office in the future.

Very conveniently located. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had Anzia as my hygienist today, highly recommend!!! She was so personable and took the time to really take care of my teeth. Very thorough and gentle, which can be hard to find.

My daughter went in to get four metal crown and four fills, and she had the best experience she won’t stop talking about her visit. Dr. Ryan and his Assisant made her so comfortable she can’t wait to get another cavity, and the staffs were so friendly. Love this place!

I've had a few procedures done here and I love the professionalism and how nice and helpful everyone is.
I am also amazed at their top of the line technology and tools to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
I just had a root canal done by Dr. Tran, and he got in and out within 45 minutes! I was expecting to be there 2 hours at least!
I will definitely be returning here.

I was initially referred to this clinic by another dentist who was unavailable. I absolutely loved the experience being treated here! Clean office, friendly staff, and a top-notch dentist (I’m sure they have multiple.) Best of all, their generosity touched my heart. I had two visits for placing elastic spacers for braces, and they didn’t charge me a penny! I believe it’s because it was a referral for a short-term visit but still... I insisted on paying for their time, but they insisted otherwise. Hands down best!!

This past year I've been to the dentist more than ever before! I will say they are super high tech and everything looks very new and clean. The staff is amazing. I had one bad experience while doing a crown, i think they propped my mouth open for sooo long that ever since I'm having pain in my jaw. I was told it was due to TMJ, which I'd never had before. I had to go back to do a root canal and the endodontist was really fast and calm. They followed the root canal with a crown all in the same day. It was definitely efficient. It's been a week. I still have pain in my jaw but they said it could take a few weeks. I'm waiting. I'll update soon.

I went to Dentists of South Jordan for a routine check-up/cleaning a few months ago. The start of the visit was fine, but while taking X-Rays they insisted on doing a full mouth set rather than the standard bitewings, even after I told them that I had them done back in Oregon a year or so prior. They kept saying "insurance will cover it!" so I went along with it.

Things took a turn once Dr. Mcafee came in. He immediately started telling me how much work I needed to have done. This took me off guard since I had a clean check-up only 6 months prior. By the time I left, I was given an estimate of over $300 after insurance. I decided to get a second opinion at another dentist - who told me I only had one small filling and everything else was unnecessary... made it pretty easy to realize this practice was in it for the money.

Wonderful service and staff! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! If you are like myself and feel anxious when going to the dentist, these outstanding staff members help put all of your worries to rest! You are treated with high respect and their office is nothing but comforting! The lovely staff in front help with flexibility and are very thorough with talking with your insurance and going over what’s covered and if something isn’t, they help you out so much and give you a variety of options that fit your budget and make sure you get the care you need! I have never been to any dentists office like this one and I can honestly say they are the best and I truly recommend them to everyone! You will have a pleasant experience, feel cared for and that your opinion matters, and they always ask you how you are doing and check up on you! They listen to all your concerns and worries if any and they work through it all with you! They are genuine staff with outstanding customer service!
