Hilde Family Dentistry

I was sent to collections for a bill of less than $100 that was due 9/27/2022. I have a physical copy of their statement. When I called about this I received no apology and was told there was nothing they could do. I spoke to two people and they could do nothing. They had a number in the system that was not my phone number, nor had ever been.

Terrible practice to do to your customers. We have been customers for 7 years and have spent thousands here and they are willing to throw that all away over something like this.

The dentists here are great. The office and billing seems like a mess. No apology, when I asked why this happen they just told me snidely "why didn't you pay your bill?"

Perhaps because I didn't get a call. Never seen that number before. If they reach out and make it right I might consider staying a customer because the dentists themselves were good.

I never write reviews but this dental office deserves to be recognized I have pretty high expectations as I also work in the healthcare industry and Hilde family dentistry exceeded all my expectations!!! I went to Hilde Family Dentistry for the first time.. from the moment I called and made a appointment to the time I walked in the door the front desk staff were friendly and very welcoming, then I was brought back by a dental assistant named Shannon she was absolutely wonderful she knew I had some dental anxiety and she was kind,patient, and reassuring. The care she provided was top notch! Then I saw the physician who was absolutely the sweetest, gentle and explained everything she put all my worries at ease! Last but not least was my hygienist traci! She was very knowledgeable and gave me some great tips and honest advice while still having excellent bed side manner! The PCC Ali was friendly and made the process of payments for treatment smooth and easy! I left the office feeling at ease.. and thought I could totally do that again and not need to be as anxious next time! I will be bringing my whole family there for dental care and recommending them to everyone. They are hands down the best dental office I’ve ever been to!

Dr. Manvir Kaur has filled two cavities for me and they have gone well. She is very sweet and explains everything. She also was the doctor for my son during his first dentist visit. He's one and a half and she was great with him as well. I definitely recommend Hilde!

Dentists change often. Very corporate feel. Often feel like I'm trying to be sold something. They had some findings which didn't seem consistent with one of their other dentists who I had seen 3 mos prior. I went to a different dental practice, and sure enough they didn't have the same findings. Some of the hygienists are super friendly but one in particular is condescending. Used to be fairly good with some of the other dentists who are now gone. Only one still there I'd see again but won't come back to this practice.

This place is a scam. They said the were in network when I called to make an appointment, but claimed they weren’t when we came in. They said insurance only covered 50% when insurance actually covers 90% and wanted to wheel and deal prices with me when I said I would go elsewhere. Please be cautious of what they are trying to charge you.. especially since they want a down payment to make an appointment.

My mother and I are both patients at Hilde. We have both received efficient and kind care.

I had a broken tooth on a weekend and was able to be seen quickly. I've since gotten the permanent crown on that tooth. I am happy with my care and the final product.

My mother isn't an easy patient. They were great with her and allowed me to assist while she was receiving care.

The office staff are friendly and seem efficient. I appreciate that they explain each step.

I have been here twice. Their main shortfall is how they charge patients. At first I read the reviews about their strange payment methods, and I figured it would be ok to deal with, if the dentists were good. I had the worst cleaning ever, and the dentist was good, but obviously young and inexperienced. I left happy with the filling. Then came the issues with the payment. They overcharged by by 300%. They are taking their sweet time refunding me. I called them 5 weeks after treatment once my insurance notified me of how much less I should have actually paid. i would never have known I overpaid if I had not been notified by my insurance. I called Hilde Dentistry, and they looked up the info, and said "Oh, we will start a refund for you, it might take some time". If I had not pushed them, I don't think they would bother to refund the money. It is crazy. This is a major issue, and paying up front is way worse than I had imagined. Stay away from this company. Hilde is a bad place for dentistry, and they are the worst place to trust with your money. Go somewhere else.

Me and the family were finally able to get into the dentist and we choose Hilde, for one there review and a another big reason was sat appointments. Our experience was great and we would recommend others. They saw our 16month old as well.

Everyone in the office is friendly and very professional. The atmosphere is pleasant and calm. Each person involved in my care treated me as though my dental health and comfort was important to them. I especially appreciate the dentist for being very thorough.

Read the other negative reviews. I have been going here for 7+ years and in this time have had 2 occasions when they told me my insurance would cover x amount. I was then billed after the fact because they were wrong on the amount covered. The first time I paid it no problem as I always pay in full on visit. The second one from 7 months prior was sent to collections with no notice, phone call etc. The funny part is we were in there 2 months ago and no mention of this outstanding balance. It did not hurt my credit as I paid it instantly when called by the agency but this should not have happened at all much less multiple times. It's almost as if they lie about insurance coverage just so they can be competitive and then charge twice what anyone else would after the appointment. I'm not even sure this is legal but regardless we won't be going there again.
