I have had more than my fair share of dental work done by multiple dentists and Mathews Dental is a standout when it comes to offering expert care and a knowledgeable staff, while also making me feel like I'm a real person and not a box to be checked off the schedule.

All my visits to the Mathews Dental Office at 5025 W Clearwater have been positive. I have been a patient there for 30 years, first with the father and now with the son. You will be treated professionally and with an exceptionally high degree of integrity. Dr. Sean Mathews will give you thorough explanations of procedures and offer well-informed advice. I have recommended my brother to be his patient and he also is very pleased with his work and that of his staff. Your teeth will be in good hands with Dr. Mathews.

I've been going to Dr Sean for over 12 years and have never had anything but great experiences! And I've had more than just a few exams or fillings, I've also had root canals & crowns. Dr Sean and his staff are not only good at what they do, they treat each other and their patients like family. Last time I was in there, I was surprised that the tech was someone I didn't know. Turns out, Connie had been there for YEARS, since back when Dr Sean's father ran the practice, but she only works a few mornings a week, and I typically don't have morning appointments. Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a great (& fun) dental practice!

What a great team of dental professionals. The clinic carries on the traditions started years ago by Dr. Sean’s dad in the 70’s.

Since Sean has inherited full responsibility, the practice has continued to thrive and grow. The bedside manor of the whole team puts dental averse people like me at ease.

Dr Sean has been our dentist for quite a few years. He is great and his staff is great. They make you feel very comfortable.

And all of them have thanked me for the recommendation. Dr.Sean has an amazing technique with people. His staff are like a family and the treat patients the very same. If you are looking for a wonderful hometown dentist that will take amazing care of your teeth, amazing hygienist, and even the receptionist is kinda cool, give Dr Sean a chance! You won’t regret it!

45 Years - I have been a patient! First with Dr. Richard and now with Dr. Sean. 1st class service, care and staff. Always get great advice without the pressure. Regular cleanings have resulted in fewer fillings. I wish I had followed their advice several decades ago. In spite of my laxness, I still have all of my teeth. I hope the Mathews tradition will continue with the third generation.

Absolutely a top notch facility. The staff is caring and the dentist is hilarious. No gas needed. If you can get in, there isnt a better place to go. Dr Sean loves his patients and the entire crew always makes sure that you leave with a positive experience.
