I have been very happy with Beattie Family Dental. I switched dentists because my former doctor held me captive in his dental chair and lectured me about how wonderful Trump is while doing a root canal on me. On a break, I told his that if he didn't shut up, he'd be the only nine-fingered dentist in Vilas County. I changed dentists. I am pretty sure that Dr. Scott Beattie does not share my political ideals (not many do, in the North Woods), either, but I don't really know, and that's as it should be. Dr. Beattie and his staff keep their opinions on politics to themselves. They always treat me with respect and true care. I really like them.

Dr. Scott Beattie is a remarkably compassionate and competent dentist. He makes you feel very comfortable and is not pushy in any way. His staff is super friendly and helpful. We have been lucky enough to have Dr. Beattie as our dentist for 13 years and continue to see him even though we spend 7 months a year down in NC. It's hard to find someone to replace his expertise, but we will need to someday when we live in NC full time. We highly recommend him to adults and children.

I have been a patient of Dr. Beattie's for almost 20 years. He is the most kind, gentle, and skilled dentist I have ever known. (and he has a great sense of humor!) He offers the most up-to-the-minute procedures and has the state-of-the-art equipment which make "going to the dentist" much more comfortable and totally less intimidating than when I was growing up. Also, he has assembled the best staff, and they are very kind, helpful and professional - just like Dr. Scott. So if you try Beattie Family Dental, you won't be disappointed!!

I was recently visiting family in the area and had an emergency dental issue that caused pain and left me worried I would have to cut my trip short and drive 6 hours home to get it taken care of. I called Beattie Family Dental's emergency line after a recommendation and received a call back very quickly that day from Dr. Camp. He was incredibly kind and walked me through a few options, which included offering to get me in to see him for an emergency appointment the next day. Dr. Camp and Kristen were both very empathetic and professional and did a stellar job on my broken tooth, getting me in and out in an hour, on their day off and with absolutely no pain. I cannot thank them enough and they are now the go-to dentists for my entire family in the north woods.
