First meeting was excellent. The staff was very friendly and informative. This was my “second opinion” and I’m glad I came here to get their professional assessment. Will be beginning a very comprehensive treatment plan and am very confident that it will be a pleasant experience. Special thanks to Katie and Brittany in the front and Dr. Craig and Brittany for their excellent care thus far. I’m definitely glad my wife and I are in their care.

Brittany is a great dental hygienist! Very pleased with her work.
However, every visit seems to cost more and more out of pocket. Further explanations and understanding to what services insurance does not cover would be appreciated for biannual teeth cleanings.

They care about your money more then you. I went to meadow book due to them showing as a “preferred provider” on my insurance. Well that’s where the positive ends. The cleaning was fine up until the technician (not the doctor) said I had 7 cavities which I knew was completely impossible since I just had x rays and a cleaning not even 6mo prior. It seemed absolutely impossible to think in 6mo I got 7 cavities. Not only that but they basically pushed that I absolutely need a prescription toothpaste immediately. I had my records transferred back to my old dentist only to find basically all of this information was false. I had 1 cavity and had no other issues at all. To top It all off these “7” cavities I supposedly had meadowbrook claimed they did not do the fillings my insurance covers and would be $1,365 out of pocket. This place wants your money and could care less about you, I will never go back.

I'm very unsatisfied with this dentist and her facility. They cracked my tooth during a filling then said they'd have to charge me to fix it with a crown!

When I disagreed with having to pay for it the dental assistant became very rude and condescending, and said they can't prove it was their fault, and I could have had the crack previously. I've never had pain or complications with the tooth until the filling. I even had xrays by them the month prior with no mention of a crack. I haven't been able to chew since waking out of there.

The sad part is I wasn't even mad they cracked my tooth, as I understand things happen. However Rebecca Van Miller was more concerned with her profits then accepting liability and making things right with her patient.

Everyone I spoke to including the receptionist had the similar snooty tone displayed by the dentist when questioning her during visits.

My wife and I chose a small local dentist office as we
Support business owners in the area, but had kinder service and better care at Dental Associates. My wife and I cancelled all future appointments with this facility and will never return.

Save yourself the trouble and find an honest business owner before considering this place!

I could not say enough "excellent" words about the Meadowbrook Smiles clinic. Everyone was so polite and respectful. They treat you like you are the only patient they have. And the dental work Dr. Annis does---Excellent! I felt so at ease because I had so much "trust" in Dr. Annis. He makes you feel that he truly cares about you. He explains everything to you about what he feels needs to be done and welcomes any questions you have. He gives you choices of everything and you don't feel pushed into anything. I cannot express how happy I am that I found Meadowbrook Smiles and Dr. Annis. I have never liked or looked forward to going to the dentist my whole life and now I have no fears or anxiety when I have an appointment.

So many up and down feelings with this place. The good was they were able to get me in for an emergency root canal. Cost was higher than previously quoted however during that appointment. Then they set me up today for a new patient exam. Nothing was stated about cost and figured it was just covered. Long story short is my cleaning was $305 and nothing was said and no estimate of services were given. If I knew it was $305 I would have just done the other work they wanted that included cleaning for $465. Now I have to have the other one and got charged for a basic service. I saw the Dr. for 10 seconds and she seemed mad I was refusing to do the $1100 worth of work. FIRST OF ALL, I needed to refuse it at the time. I don’t have that kind of money laying around to make that big of decision with out first thinking of my family and other needs. They seemed not too concerned when I called to complain and cancel my other appointments. I got a “oh well ok”. The did offer to refund the $305 pending insurance, but if insurance said no, I still have to pay.

I thought I had found a place I liked, and would back in the swing of things with my dental care. Guess my search will continue to find a place.

I asked for a call back regarding my issues, we will see if that even happens.

Me and my wife went to this clinc late last year. First of all they kept me waiting 15 to 20 min every time past appointment time. They refused to do any preventive treatment without first doing a deep cleaning and waiting for a few weeks for everything to heal. Inspite of my wife's repeated requests they refused to fill her cavities without cleaning first. Both of us were told that we need antibiotics medication application that cost around $25 per tooth which we refused. They also diagnosed us for some many fillings including redoing of my 2 crowns that I have no issues with and redoing past fillings. After doing a few procedures there we got a new dentist and they only diagnosed 3 to 4 cavities. When I mentioned the list of all the teeth this place said I needed filling the new dentist told me xrays are upto interpretation and at this time I feel they look good. Overall our feeling was they were trying to upsell thier services with procedures that were not needed at that time.

I was told I had multiple cavities by Dr. Van Miller and was told to schedule fillings. Thankfully I couldn’t get an appointment for a couple of months so I was able to get a second opinion. New dentist told me I had beautiful teeth and gave me a good to go! To top it off Dr. Van Miller was rude to the hygienist, and now I’m stuck with a cancellation fee despite trying to cancel! Find a different dentist!
