I am a patient of Dr.Cox I went in for my cleaning and had a great experince with the hygienist she explained everything very well and I needed a crown and Dr. Cox saw me right away they moved me to another room and started on the crown I was so thankful to go ahead and get it taken care of in the same day. Dr. Cox was very kind and patient with me the lady that was helping him was so sweet and kind I will always come to Dr. Cox's office. My entire family is seen here and we are all so thankful to have a dentist we can trust. Thank you Dr. Cox and staff

I heard about Gadsden Dental online and was so nervous about going in there to have work done. The staff and Dr. Cox are absolutely wonderful and so nice. I'm having another procedure done this week and usually I am a nervous wreck but I am completely confident in using Dr. Cox. I will continue to use him as my dentist for as long as he is there !

I was a new patient at this office, when I was creating my appointment the lady on the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The day I showed up for my appointment the front office ladies were so kind and welcoming. Once I was called to the back the ladies that were helping were so sweet and caring I was in a lot of pain so it meant a lot to me how much they cared for me. When the doctor came in he was very helpful and gave me several different options to help me, he was very kind and empathic I would recommend this doctor and this office to everyone I know this will now be my new dentist. The best experience you could ever have in a dental office.

I went to see Dr. Joseph Cox June 2020 for some pretty severe tooth pain and he determined that it needed to be pulled. There was also infection contributing to my pain.

He didn’t have a “bedside manner” at all and I walked away feeling very judged.

Soon after, I had my tooth pulled.

Again, Dr. Cox lacked tremendously in his bedside manner but I was grateful to have it done and for the pain to subside.

I hurt all weekend and called his office on Monday for advice. I spoke with a very kind woman who made suggestions and we agreed that I would call back for an appointment on Wednesday if I wasn’t feeling better.

That night and in the morning the pain was unbearable. After attending a funeral for a dear friend that morning, I drove straight to the dentist office.

Dr. Cox came in and I explained the pain I was having. I also asked questions about how he would need to examine my tooth. I have some pretty severe dental anxiety after having a massive jaw surgery years ago. He was clearly frustrated by my questions and was very curt.

He took a look and diagnosed it as a “dry socket”.

He told me they would flush it out, put some medicine in and prescribe an antibiotic.

I then asked for clarification on how exactly the flush and medicine administration worked, concerned about even more pain and just trying to prepare myself.

He stood propped in the doorway, tossed his hands in the air and said, “Or I could do NOTHING!”

What a professional attitude. 🙄😳

The hygienist that helped me was so kind and helpful. She answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable before she began.

After leaving the office, I went back in to cancel my next upcoming appointment for a crown. There is no way I will set foot in Gadsden Dental again to have any work of any kind done.

I have never encountered a doctor of any kind as rude and pompous as Dr. Joseph Cox.

And Dr. Cox might need to consider a job in a different field if he can not gather up enough compassion to care for those that are hurting.

Was seen over a year go for dentures. Had my top teeth pulled and one of the teeth he pulled must have broken because I have been left with a broken tooth that should have been removed for over a year now. When I called ask told them about the tooth I was told I would have to pay again to have it extracted. I had already paid once to have this tooth removed with all the other teeth .

If you a little nervous when going to the dentist then I promise you need to go to Gadsden Dental. Dr. Cox and his staff made me feel so at ease. Not only were they super polite but the most professional staff I have ever seen. I felt like a part of their family when I left. Emily was my hygienist and I could not have asked for anyone sweeter. She went above and beyond. Again I highly recommend using Gadsden Dental , see for yourself if Dr Cox and his staff aren't just the best !!!

After two years of struggling with another dentist office, Gadsden Dental was the right place to go! Dr. Cox and team are professionals. They are caring, and they have treated me as a person and not a number on a spreadsheet. Highly recommended!

I understand there is a lot going on at this office, but I called to try to find out when I could go in for implant maintenance. I was told I would get a call back to come in. That has been a month ago!!! Come on guys, you know if I don’t get maintenance my plate will break in half!!!!! A bit ridiculous! At least tell me you aren’t gonna be able to get to me so I know to find a new dentist

Staff is tremendously courteous and considerate. Dr. Harris is very nice and if you are nervous about going to the dentist this is the best place in Gadsden to go. I would highly recommend it to everyone.
