Dr. Smith is not my dentist but I had an emergency. He quickly saw me and corrected my problem. He and his staff were wonderful!! I couldn’t have ask for a better experience.

I was going to transfer dentist because two people who did me I wasn’t very happy with them, but I visited today 5-24-2022 with someone named Ana I couldn’t remember her last name but she was amazing. She did an outstanding job! I’ve visit several times and this was the first time my teeth looked different as they did when I went in. She made me feel very comfortable and it wasn’t so painful either. I would definitely go back if she waits on me

Being charged for dental work I wasn’t supposed to get done. I spoke with a receptionist and told them I’d be a few minutes late and was cut off mid sentence and was told “that’s fine, we will see you when u get here” . I arrived and was told I need to reschedule after driving miles.

Milking your insurance:
This office will check your insurance to see what will pay them the most money and this will be the service you will need. This is not right, all about the money!!!!!! Every time I go I need a root canal.

As always, I was treated like family. Everyone is always nice, courteous, respectful and helpful. I don’t like going to the dentist, but I don’t mind going to Dr. Smith. He and his assistants are always knowledgeable, efficient, and very friendly. All of the people who work there are respectful to each other. That is commendable. I have recommended my family to them and will recommend them to anyone in the future.

Dr. Smith is the best dentist in Tuscaloosa! His practice is very welcoming & family friendly. They are taking precautions to ensure everyone is safe during the pandemic.

Apparently they lost our phone number-(although we have been with him 9 years????) didn't call or send reminder letter for 6 month check up- no apptmt. card provided last visit. I have called twice to tell them to stop billing us for the $75 No Show fee.
The answer is NO—.
At least Dr. Smith could take responsibility for their errors in record keeping- ????
Also- botched job on my daughters tooth being pulled last year- one of the instruments did severe damage to her gums, he left us without a way to contact over weekend— wound up having to call an orthodontist—Dr Upton —-who was very kind and helped us with medication recommendations.
Questionable business ethics and lack of care for patients- would not recommend.

Love the efficiency. Was in and out in about an hour and had several small details done. Loved my hygienist (thanks for not judging me bc a lot of them are judgey), and Dr. Smith is always pleasant. Definitely recommend them.

The staff are very courteous and sweet, but not as ethical. I had two crowns done by them. The 2nd crown had to be done twice due to a nerve being exposed the 1st time the completed the procedure. I paid for the crown but now have to pay another dentist to fix the nerve that this dentist exposed. They stated that they will not cover my root canal surgery done by dentist they referred me to. This is not the ethical way to run a business. I will definitely not be back due to this terrible incident.
