The front receptionists are great!
So friendly and helpful. Loved chatting and joking with them while I waited for my kid.
Dr. Bowen can be trusted to explain the dental issues he sees and appears to be knowledgeable in preventative options to treat cavities rather then strait to drill and fill. I am having to move from Eagle River to Anchorage but plan to stay with this practice.

Casey Bowen DMD. He is a fantastic dentist, who cares. He really does a great job and has good eye sight.... So he can see what's wrong and has the skill to fix it!
The other man who works there... Philip Latteier, is awful, he couldn't even see that the tooth was crumbling along the filling and gives off creepy vibes... unfortunately he is the owner.
The hygienists are cheery and do a good job cleaning, without gum poking!

Amazing!!! I transfer from bty dental. And I have to say they are amazing. Customer service amazing. Taking the time to explain what they doing to you as well is perfect. They did amazing with my daughter as well.

I have been with Midnight sun dental for 8 years. Dr. Woodring sold the business in 2019/2020. After my appointment someone screwed up Federal Blue cross Blue shield insurance submission. The new management sent me a 90 day past due letter threatened to send me to collections over a 40 bill insurance miss coding. Their fault so says the insurance company. I paid them off and will find another dental provider in Eagle river. To be fair their work was top notch, however the new administration and my experience with their ability to process a claim leaves a lot to be desired. I will not use in them in future, and will recommend others look elsewhere.

I have been going to Dr. Woodring for over 10 years. I love the care I get from his entire practice. His staff is professional, knowledagble and efficient. I would (and have) highly recommend Midnight Sun Dental Center for your family’s oral heath care. I also recently had an urgent reason to be seen and they got me in for same day service. Oh, and if you need a crown...he does it all in his office in one visit...no need for multiple appointments and a temporary crown. Current technology and expert dental care!

Dr Woodring is an awesome dentist and has been wonderful with my whole family for years. We also love Sherry (the hygenist). The front office and billing have gone so down hill. They say they are a primary provider for your insurance when they are not. When you try to tell her what the insurance company has told you, she does not listen. As much as I LOVE Sherry and Dr. Woodring I will not return due to I feel lied to, overcharged, and pretty much treated with no respect. We have gone from giving 5 stars to giving one.

Dr. Woodring and his staff are EXCELLENT! The office uses state of the art technology. My smile was completely transformed in a day with crowns that were made and placed in the same day. The staff makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Woodring and his staff take pride in the work they do, and it shows in your smile! I would HIGHLY recommend this office!
