Awesome place with a fantastic staff! Broke a tooth while out of town on vacation and they were able to get me in as soon as I got back as a new patient! They moved me up quickly, reaching out as they had cancellations and got all my stuff down by Thursday of that same week! Couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Dr. Tracy and staff are all amazing! So pleasant and welcoming. From cleanings to fillings, my husband and I had great experiences!

Great clinic for the basics. Staff is friendly and relatable, but issues beyond a regular cleaning could use some improvement. This has been my dentist office since I started getting teeth. Dr. Bird and his team were the best!
6+ months ago I notified the current team of severe tooth pain I had experienced for a few days that subsided after a long weekend and that my tooth appeared to be graying. X-rays were not offered, but I also didn't request them. I was told the tooth "looks fine." At my most recent appointment (July 2022) I asked again about my graying tooth, it was time for annual x-rays and upon reviewing the x-ray I'm told my tooth "spontaneously died" and I now need a root canal. I had no pain other than the originally explained pain. Never having had more than a cleaning needed, anxiety about the root canal set in pretty quickly. Not a lot of explanation was provided but I was told they could bleach the tooth after the root canal. Communication between the dentist office and the endodontist sucked. The endodontist asked me questions I didn't have answers for that should have been made clear on the root canal referral.
After my root canal, going back to the dentist for the permanent filling, I asked about the bleach they mentioned and was asked "the endodontist didn't do it?" Then I was told they don't have the bleach in the clinic but could order it. After not receiving an update to schedule the bleaching appointment, I had to call back only to find out they couldn't order it in a timely manner, for some reason, but I could have the endodontist do the bleach then return to the dentist for the filling and be done with the process. Relaying this to the endodontist, they didn't understand why the dentist couldn't get the bleach but promptly made me an appointment at their own office to do it. I finished the whole root canal procedure with the endodontist. Unsure if I will be returning to this clinic for any more appointments.

I went to Eagle River Dental to have a broken tooth repaired. I’ve been out of state, so this is the first time I’ve been back for Dental work in approximately one year. I was very pleased with all the staff there. Dr Tracy is a very pleasant and knowledgeable person. I could tell by my conversation with him that he loves Alaska and the outdoor life style here. He and his staff made me feel very comfortable from the moment I arrived. Dr Tracy repaired my tooth with a crown, repaired chips in my two front teeth and smoothed out a spot on another. I would recommend Dr Tracy and the rest of the Eagle River Dental Staff to anyone for complete Dental care.

Typically I resent going to the dentist. Everything about it makes me anxious and I've previously had some terrible experiences. Recently moving to Alaska, I knew I had to establish a new dentist up here. Eagle River Dental was the closest dental office to where I live so I thought I'd give it a chance. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and attentive everyone was. It felt like they really prioritized my needs and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. The ladies at the front desk were smiling despite how early in the morning it was. The dental assistant and hygienist were very friendly and easy to talk to. We even shared a laugh here and there. It was easy to forget that I was at the dentist. Dr. Tracy was also extremely personable and despite my natural discomfort, he really took care of me and had my best interest in mind. Do yourself a service and switch your primary dentist to Eagle River Dental. I can't recommend them highly enough.

My husband and I have both been to Dr Tracy and are very happy with him, the hygienists and the office staff. We were sad when Dr Bird retired but Dr Tracy is a good addition to Eagle River. I was just in most recently last week for a cleaning, X-rays and general checkup. Dr Tracy also did a bridge last year instead of an implant which saved me money and am very happy with the work.

Requested an appointment on their website at 2am. I got a call back by 9am. I was seen the same day and was delighted with how friendly everyone was. I specifically noted in my appointment request I don’t care for Dentist that lecture about oral care and they didn’t, not once! I have had many rough experiences with dentistry’s but was quite relieved after seeing Dr. Tracy. I found his staff to be wonderful as well!
I plan to return.

Dr. Tracy is a great guy and an even better dentist! Very comfortable setting along with a dentist who cares more about his patients than most. Him and his assistants are more than friendly individuals who genuinely enjoy what they do. If you’re looking for a new dentist, this is the place to go.

The staff and doctor are all extremely friendly and patient with children and adults alike. My two year old son is less than compliant but each person was so gentle and compassionate with him and I know eventually he’ll love going to the dentist because of the focus they place on making the experience as positive and comfortable as possible for him.

Dr. Tracy and his team definitely have the patient’s best interests at heart. I never felt pressured to pursue costly procedures and I was even shown some empathy when I said I don’t floss everyday haha. Great place!
