Chang Family Dental

From scheduling my appointment to the appointment day was smooth and positive. The staff is efficient, quick and knowledgeable. I have never had a more hands on exam from a dentist before, EVER! Very thorough, took the time to educate as well as afford me time to discuss any concerns or ask questions. Excellent experience.

This was such an amazing visit! I had a broken tooth that was causing a lot of pain and needed an extraction. I called at 8am right when they opened and had an appointment by 10am and was done and out of the office by 10:30am. All of this during a pandemic! Dr. Chang and her staff had such a great attitude and it made the visit so much more relaxing.

I just got my broken wisdom tooth pulled and it was less stress and anxiety than some visits I’ve had at local eateries or even banks.

We love this office! My three and six year old girls love Dr. Chang! My three year old has bad enamel and has been going to the dentist since she was 9 months old. We are military and move a lot so she’s been through a few dentists and Dr. Chang is her favorite. She had some work done to her front teeth recently and Dr. Chang is so good at what she does that she didn’t have to numb her up or anything! She got in there with the drill and had to build up some filling material around those top teeth and my daughter was completely comfortable with the whole process! Other dentists have wanted to put her under for the same procedure.

Dr. Mike is also great. I just saw him myself yesterday for the first time to discuss having my wisdom teeth removed. This is obviously a scary topic for most people but he’s got me feeling confident about having it done. He was great! The rest of the staff is also very friendly and professional! I always recommend this office to newcomers in the military community looking for a good dentist!

Everybody that works there are very friendly and welcoming! My kids and I see Dr. Chang and she made me feel so comfortable about my kids being on the chair and being at the dentist. She explains everything very well. The staff are very polite! Always greeting us when we walk in and when we leave. I would recommend this dentist to anybody.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Chang and the entire Team!! After a slight scheduling glitch, everyone went over and above to not only get me in, and compensate for an error that was truly no one's fault, they did an amazing job on my tooth too!! The treatment itself was excellent, the staff is phenomenal, and the office is welcoming and beautifully done!! Definitely a model of dentistry and medical care that all medical professionals could use as their "model of excellence" Thanks, Ladies! You guys are the best!!

I cannot give enough praise to Dr. Mike and his wonderful team at Helmbrecht Dental! My daughter and I have been going there for almost 2 years, and we love it. Those who work there provide a friendly, welcoming, and caring environment, always greeting us with a smile when we walk in. Their equipment is always clean and the staff there always display beyond standard hygiene.

I have been seen by both Dr. Mike and Dr. Chang, and both are amazing dentist! They make me feel comfortable (I grew up afraid of the dentist), welcomed, and take the time to explain what they are doing at the beginning of the appointment, during, and provide a recap at the end, as well as cover what the next step is in dental care, and answer any and all questions with patience and grace.

My daughter, who is now 4, loved going to see them, even when it's not her appointment. Every staff member treat her with just as much respect and courtesy as they treat me, they are always nice to her and not only speak to me during her appointments, but also talk with her about her own dental health, and explain to her what she is getting done in a way she can understand. She has only been seen by Dr. Mike, whom she really like because of his kind manner and interaction with her (he has, during past appointments talked with her about things she knows about and likes, like Puff the Magic Dragon) that speaks volumes of his bedside manner.

Although my daughter has not been seen by Dr. Chang, based on her interactions with her during my last appointment (encouraging my daughter see what they were doing when she became curious, asking my daughter questions and talking with her), provides a wonderful insight to how she is with younger patients, and reinforces my being comfortable and confident with my daughter seeing her at future appointments.

Again, I cannot say enough positive thing about Helmbrecht Dental, this is a fantastic establishment, with awesome staff members and amazing dentist.

The friendly and professional environment was much appreciated. Ability to get me in and out and able to identify and correct problem areas.
They also explained insurance and billing very well and really look out for their patients. I strongly recommend Chang Family Dental.

The staff is lovely, kind, and patient. I had to call to reschedule due to no babysitter for my 4 month old, and they offered to watch and hold her while I got my teeth cleaned! I went there with her and they were so happy to help me.

Overall great experience, I don't want to go anywhere else!

I would highly recommend Helmbrecht Dental for all your dental needs. I needed an emergency tooth extraction and had been in considerable pain for several days. On the Monday after the Christmas holiday, I called Helmbrecht Dental and asked if they could help me. I was not an established patient there. They offered me an appointment that same day. When I got there, everyone from the office staff, Dr. Helmbrecht and his assistant, Maya, were wonderful. Dr. Helmbrecht immediately took care of my pain. I was amazed when literally in less than 2 minutes he had removed the offending tooth. He was very nice and also obviously very experienced.
I also want to give kudos to Maya who made me feel much less nervous immediately. She was also very nice, but at the same time very knowledgeable and clearly knew what she was doing.
I definitely know where I will be going from now on!!
Also, I felt like the price was fair. Much less than I have paid for extractions elsewhere.

The office staff is very nice. I have had a great experience every time I have been in. Dr. Chang is SO THOROUGH! She will listen to all your concerns and address them. You can truly tell that she loves what she is doing and really wants to make sure you are happy with the work that she has done. She even called me after a procedure to ask how I was doing. I have never had a dentist call me personally to check in on me. After having my exam and procedures done by her I referred my husband to her. He feels the exact same way. He told me that Dr. Chang is by far the best dentist he has ever had. We transferred our children over to her and couldn’t be more satisfied. Our children actually ask me when they will see her again. Of course we don’t want to be in more than we have to; but it just shows you how great she is with kids. I was just in for a cleaning recently and it was my first time seeing the remodel. The exterior may not seem inviting, but the interior of where you are getting your work done makes you feel like you are in a completely different place. Promise you won’t be disappointed.
