The staff was wonderful.
HOWEVER, Dr. Helmbrecht himself was the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered in a medical setting.
I did not have dental coverage so I hadn't been seen in several years and knew I had cavities.
A SAMPLE of the things he said to me at my exam:
"Where do you get your sugar?" Me: "I don't eat a whole lot of sugar but sometimes I drink juice" "Yeah well sugar turns to fat". Uh ok?
"Most people get cavities when they're 8-12 so what are you 8 or 12?"
"Your mom isn't here to make sure you brush your teeth".
"Do you not brush your teeth anymore?"
"Fruit juice has sugar in it. What kind of sugar?" Me- fructose . "You know what it is" *puts his hand out for me to pound it.
"You know sugar is how people get type two diabetes".
"You should eat more protein because it metabolizes slower and doesn't just turn to fat".
Came to the dentist for dental work. Not an in depth session on nutrition and how sugar is metabolized. I recently had a baby and could definitely stand to lose a few pounds but this dentist made me feel HORRIBLE about myself and I left in tears. I have NEVER been treated or talked down to in such a way by someone who was prepared to make a lot of money off of me. Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.

Received a bad crown in 2015 and currently reaping the benefits. Do yourself a favor and do not go here for dental work. Crown doesn’t match, with a ring of dark grey at the base. Crown also doesn’t match the tooth they destroyed to place this poor dental work, in color or shape.
I have pictures if you’d like to see them. I’ve also been plagued with tooth pain ever since but after paying $1500 for a crown couldn’t afford to replace it. When I brought it up to this dentist he said it was supposed to look that way and that I’d have to pay to have it cut off and replaced.
Just now posting because after arriving in the lower 48 and seeing a dentist I’ve seen the work that is good and the work that is bad and his is horrible.

Just had a Crown replaced, Doc Chang is fantastic, along with her Staff of Professionals, They treat you like you are one of the family and the Doc's methods and treatment are extraordinary... in the last several years all the work I have had done there is Exceptional... if there is a real tooth Fairy, Doc C is it....
