I am new to Alaska and I needed a dentist for a broken crown. Spruce Roots Family Dentistry was one of the recommendations I had. I am so glad I chose them. Jessica was amazing, very kind and professional. Dr. Woller is very knowledgeable, kind and amazing. He was very thorough and explained everything more than any other doctor has done for me. Samantha was very kind and professional. She explained everything thoroughly.

I got my filling done last week and one crown done today by Dr Lee and Michelle, the assistant. They both did a superb job! Dr Lee was very meticulous and thorough… And at the same time, she let me know what to expect next, so it helped ease my anxiety:) Michelle also made sure I was as comfortable as I can be… they both were very professional! I give them both 5 stars:) I tend to be very sensitive with my teeth, but even with my temporary crown, I feel my bite is very natural… thank you for your service!

This is a good group. They help to make some of life's more miserable moments at least bearable, and they have always been kind, caring and personable. I hope they don't mind that I'm posting a selfie from today's "miserable" time - at least the doctor was having a good time!

I went in for what I expected would be basic dentistry. I didn’t realize I was going to the Cadillac of dentist dealers. I’m sure the intent was not to make me feel bad about myself, but I came away wondering why I was asked three times if I am happy with the way my teeth look. Is there something wrong with the way I look? I felt shamed to be told, tsk, tsk, that I actually have some calculus around my teeth, and spaces and food between them!!! My teeth were professionally cleaned just 5 months ago, and I brush and floss regularly. And I grind my teeth. I felt judged.
I have no idea how anyone who is retired could possibly afford to have their dental work done here (I even have dental insurance that pays half).

The staff deserve 6stars, they are all very courteous and helpful. I am satisfied with the quality of work. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the price. I'm not saying it's unreasonable, just on the very edge of what I can afford. I don't have insurance, and that's on me.

I found this place through google and went because of the rave reviews, and they didn't disappoint! Everyone is so friendly and kind. It's been a long while since I've been to a dentist and they checked my mouth out very thoroughly, took a lot of pictures and xray and when we came up with a treatment plan, they even print off a page with the work you need done with the corresponding pictures of your mouth! I thought that was awesome. Then at the end, they come and talk over the payment plan with you and break it down and can give you ample time to pay. Over all, a wonderful experience. I highly recommend!

Dr. Jon Woller and the staff are excellent. They quickly made time for a visit the to address an issue I noticed. Dr. Woller diagnosed it quickly and made an adjustment to fix the minor problem. Highly recommend Spruce Roots Family Dentistry
