Very pleasant and I was glad to get in on short notice. Jennifer was Super. The doctor and attend were great too. They fixed me up temporary until I can have a longer appointment.

Shout out to this team!!! After a bad experience with another Dentistry in Soldotna I went to see them for a second opinion. Dr. O’Donoghue did a amazing job and gave me a very clear and thorough break down on the work I actually need done vs what I was quoted from the other office. On top of that he added in free x-rays and pictures once we found out the dental office I came from wouldn't send my information.

In addition, the dental assistants he had working with him were great, they turned a routine dental check up into a very enjoyable experience. It can be tough to find a dentistry that you can trust in this small town. It seems like most just "drill for cash", so its important to know that the DR is looking out for your best interest and not just his own wallet. After the free x-rays and dental exam the doctor walked me through the work I needed done vs what I was quoted from Gentle Dental. It turns out that 1/3 of the work Gentle Dental wanted to do was a non issue/ not needed. They won my business, glad I went for a second opinion!!

Outstanding dentist and staff! They use the latest dental equipment and explain everything so the patient can understand. They are great at working with your insurance and giving you all of the pricing information so there are no surprises.

Visiting Alaska , I had a problem with an old crown . Pain was unbearable , going through this town , started calling around to find a dentist that could schedule me ASAP.
Called Dental Arts and they could get me right in . I had been told by another dentist that I needed a root canal .
Dr ODonaghue was my dentist and after the X-rays and evaluating the tooth , we decided the best thing to do was extract the tooth and prep for an implant that I could get when back in Florida . He gave me the option to get a root canal but because of the major decay he said it would last maybe a year or so . I liked that he was honest , and gave me an option .
The procedure went well , no pain at all removing the tooth , bone grafting and placing the post , ready for the 3 month healing process - Samantha , the Dr assistant was amazing . She went above and beyond her job , calling Florida and finding me a Dr in Florida that had the system they used for the implant placing . She helped to set up an appointment for me there and got the paperwork rolling so all set when I get home ! Pain free , hassle free and I was so lucky to have found them !
I highly recommend this practice . He would be my dentist if I lived here ! Can only give 5 stars or would give more !

I went under IV Sedation for an a several implant procedure, and it was the most comfortable experience I’ve ever had at a dental office.
Dr. O’Donoghue & Samantha were very assuring and knowledgeable to the surgery I was having, and for someone with an extreme anxiety to dentist AND surgery, I can say I went into it completely reassured and comfortable. All of my questions were answered with confidence, I was shown and told exactly how it would go, what to expect, and how to prepare.

Everything was planned ahead of time for me, my treatment, My appointments, my insurance, and my bill. I was given several treatment options and not just the most expensive.
My instructions for post op where went over thoroughly with myself before surgery, and my ride home after. Prescriptions were written so I could start antibiotics ahead of time, the rest written so my ride could pick them up while I was in surgery. The care and planning they took into account for me where unbeatable. The efforts they made, made it entirely effortless for me. Above and beyond. They billed my insurance for me and handled all paperwork perfectly. From my first phone call, to my last appointment I can say that this doctor and team, TRULY CARE!

The kicker to this experience, I HAD ZERO PAIN after having this surgery. They set the bar well above any dental clinic I have ever been to.

If you are looking for a dentist in the area I highly recommend Soldotna Professional Arts! They are very professional and are willing to work with you on scheduling. The staff is friendly and Dr. O is very knowledgeable and has very up to date equipment. He has provided some very involved dentistry on me and I'm happy with the outcome. Cecelia

Dr. O’Donoghue is the best dentist in Alaska. He is extremely intelligent, and genuinely cares about his patients. I will continue to use him as a family dentist for many years to come. The same day crowns, and implants are something to brag about. Clean, welcoming office and environment. Excellent, friendly and very knowledgeable team over there. Highly recommended.

I needed some emergency work done and they were able to get me in right away. Very professional and courteous staff. Dr. Hamilton was very thorough. He answered all of my questions but avoided talking to me while the work was being performed, which I appreciated.
I also appreciated that they did not try to sell me on any work that did not actually need to be done. They also gave me a $100 gift card to hand out for new patient referrals. The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is because they are unable to make crowns in office. Otherwise an excellent experience in an unpleasant situation.

Dr O’Donoghue saw me over a weekend, within thirty minutes of my emergency phone call, to help me with my crown-which had fallen out. I was not his patient- I had never been seen in his office. That’s the kind of dentist I want: One who actually cares enough about other people to come in on a Saturday evening, for a stranger, within thirty minutes.
This evening, a Friday, his office managed to get me in last minute, again! On top of a full schedule and three other emergencies!!
A more empathetic, and helpful dentist and staff I have yet to meet.
It bears pointing out that I called several offices that Saturday when I needed help, in both Kenai and Soldotna. Only a handful of clinics had bothered to put an emergency number on their recording. Of those who had, only two answered. The first told me I “needed to wait till Monday”. The second was Dr. O’Donoghue.
