Today was our first visit after having used the same dentist down south for over 15 years. Needless to say we were apprehensive particularly since my wife has severe Alzheimer’s disease. We found an exceptionally friendly office staff, hygienists and dentist. The modern equipment and approach made everything less stressful and somewhat interesting.
Our plan had been to primarily use Meridian Dental for hygienist services while maintaining primary care down south during the winter. But after today, Meridian Dental will become our primary provider.

The reviews of this place could not be further from the experience I had. I saw Dr. Gurr and the 2nd star is because the work on the tooth is acceptable. However, the lack of consideration during my appointment as well as 3 days and counting of excruciating pain after will stop me from ever returning. I’ve seen many dentists, Dr. Gurr’s skill with a needle and care for the well being of the person in the chair are the lowest I have ever experienced. I honestly felt like a bother to him. I wonder if he is a sadist or just a terrible person. All of my pain is a result of his lack of skill and care, fully preventable.
UPDATE: I saw Dr. Gurr on 2/8/21. He was back from out of town. I don’t use my legal name on reviews due to harassment I’ve received in the past. I am still in pain on 2/17 from the work he did, though not as bad now. I STRONGLY SUGGEST A DIFFERENT DENTIST. But it’s your mouth, take the risks you want. Meridian response on 2/16 saying he has been out the past few weeks is a lie. He had returned 2/8 and as far as I know wasn’t leaving again until taking the day off on 2/15. He was absolutely there the week of 2/8!

Meridian Dental is such a cool office. It's clean, modern, high-tech, and the chairs have massage and heat settings! All of the staff are great, I especially appreciate my hygienist Kelsey for taking good care of me.

My husband is disabled and in a wheelchair and we love this practice! From the reminder call and front office staff to the Dental Assistants, Hygienists and Doctors so friendly and accommodating 😃 we get ours 6 month check ups together and I have had a whitening treatment and all around awesome experience 🙌
