Layton Lakes Dental Care

This is the first time I have ever been to a dentist where I did not grab on to the seat in fear. Everyone has been amazing and patient and I’m actually excited to start a dental plan! Highly recommend giving them your business. Game changing!!!

Don't come here for cosmetic work. I had a bridge that failed and needed two implants. My eye tooth and the tooth behind it. Attached are the photos, it's pretty evident that the size, shape, angle(you can see the crown jutting out, not flush with my other teeth) and opaqueness/color is off. I had to get a second opinion when they told me that all they were willing to do was send me out for gum work. And guess what, my new dentist agrees that the size, shapes and opaqueness is wrong. Dr. Philipp refused to fix the issues. Unfortunate because the staff are friendly... until they no longer want to work with you. Took a full week to even hear an initial response after my several documented complaints. I even asked them to fix the angle and size BEFORE they put the crowns on and all i got was lip service, "I'll look into it," You be the judge, check out the pics.

The best dentist with a pen in hand. The office was great, super friendly staff. I really like the new face thing that exposes the face. My dentist was fantastic and so the doctor is great. He came with a great attitude. Did some jokes and was very professional.

I love my hygienist Veronica she is awesome but this practice has had several owners in the last few years. I believe one of the last owners left the practice with a bad reputation… we stuck around. I struggle every time I come because they always seem ready to sell me on something I “need” whether is cancer screening, fluoride, or Invisalign. I don’t like being there and feeling like I have to have my guard up or else.
I’m done … not coming back ever again. As a follow up to my last visit. I get told that even though my insurance doesn’t cover fluoride is best to get it. I agree and I’m charged $38 right after my visit. I get. Statement of account a few days later stating “fluoride not covered over the age of 18” … I called and rather than agreeing with me that the statement is incorrect and that the charges are related to something else the Layton Lakes employee decided to argue with me. I told her I’m done and I’m going to take my business else where and she said and I quote “that would be best”

The staff is the dental assistant from the front desk and Dr. Eric himself is extremely friendly to the technicians. They are always going to try their best to figure out your own schedule together and you usually feel better cared for. This was often my even dental experience.

I had a fantastic experience at Layton Lakes Dental. Not only did I get my teeth cleaned and a cavity filled, but I had a chip in my front tooth that made my teeth look uneven and the dentist shaved it down to make both of my front teeth look even. What a change! He went above and beyond. Great experience with the office staff, hygienist, and the dentist! Definitely recommending to my friends and family!

Even I have to mention I would have been absolutely fascinated with Dr. Eric and his practice. He showed a beautiful office. I was greeted with a friendly smile and a really happy front desk person. Going to the dentist is often scary and fun but this office removes all your fears. I recommend them.

I have been seeing Dr. Philipp for years. The care of my teeth is super important to me and I don’t trust just anyone. He is not pushy and never tries to persuade me to do anything. Also, my dental hygienist is wonderful. When an employees stay for years, it shows that the company treats their employees well. I highly recommend trusting your dental hygiene to Dr. Philipp and staff.

My experience here was very thorough and comfortable. Dr. Eric Hwang, DMD worked with me and he did an excellent job. I had to get a new filling as well as work on one other tooth and Dr. Eric talked me through everything, took his time and took care of me. The rest of the staff was also excellent, from checking me in promptly to discussing the estimate before working on my teeth. This office also has a very cozy and modern atmosphere, including massage chairs to sit back on during your dental work. The following day I felt barely any pain near my cavity which is almost unheard of. I will recommend this dentist to everyone I know. Thank you Layton Lakes Team!

Outstanding experience. I have never used the words pleasant or enjoyable to describe any dental procedure until now. The kindest, most sympathetic staff it has ever been my pleasure to work with. Dr. Philipp is by far the most skilled dental professional I have found in three states. His focus on perfection, never stopping until I am satisfied, and tremendous value make this office worth a two hour drive. Treated like royalty yet fitting the budget of an average working person. Truly the best in the business.
