I have been a patient of Dr. Hohenstein for years. He is an excellent dentist who truly cares about his patients. He is good about talking you through any complex procedure to ensure to alleviate any anxiety and he is very personable. He gives you plenty of breaks during the procedure so you are not overwhelmed.
My last crown was not only painless (didn't even feel the needle from the numbing meds) but I also never smelled that awful smoke smell from your tooth being drilled. I had no pain during the procedure nor the next day. Dr. Hohenstein personally followed up with me the next day to see how I was doing.
I highly recommend this dentist as he checks all the boxes you would want as a patient (professional, compassionate, personable and well-experienced).
