PLEASE READ!! I had scheduled an appointment 45 days in advance to have my wisdom teeth surgically removed to be told on the day of my appointment that I needed an additional x-ray in order for my procedure to be made. I was told they did not have the proper equipment for the x-ray at that location, so they sent me to the Vail location (35 minutes 23 miles) across town. The $150 for the x-ray would not be covered by my insurance so it would come out of pocket, after calling Grant Dentistry multiple times to re confirm my new appointment times and to also confirm that the x-ray would be the last thing needed for the procedure, I was told that was all and to be back for my appointment time. As I met with the surgeon, I was told it was not recommended for my wisdom teeth to be removed.
In my opinion my current x-rays could have been reviewed beforehand as they were the ones the surgeon was using to educate me on his recommendation not the one, I paid $150.00. This would have eliminated me taking 3 days off work (For recovery), having my spouse take a day off work to take me to the appointment, spending an unexpected $150 in x-ray cost and save me over an hour of driving time. Also, my opinion this location lacks consideration for their patients, lacks preparation, the front staff did not handle my complaint well at all, I don't remember them apologizing for the inconvenience.
I write this review not to be the victim but to put myself in the shoes of a person maybe having a dental emergency or someone's grandparent or someone in a very tight budget, in my opinion your dentist location should be a place of trust and feel safe that they are doing the best for you as a patient. I will sadly say I will no longer be returning to this location, and I hope you make an educative decision before coming here.
Thank you

4.7 stars average I think a lot of you guys allow the nice attitude of the staff overlook the incompetence of the dentist. He was nice but useless. I don't remember his name but its one that is hard to say and spell and I don't feel comfortable identifying him by his racial background. However I do know when I walked in that office and waited in that chair so long that I took a nap woke up and still waited was a waste of time. He told me one of two of my teeth that are by each other were infected. I knew that. After an x-ray and examination he still didn't know which one and didn't have the equipment to determine which one, then referred me to someone else and went about his way. I had to ask for antibiotics. Which is standard baseline dentistry It's the only way you can get rid of an infection in order to pull the tooth out. I'm in so much pain I would let him pull both of them out. Well not him but a good dentist. He did and said nothing I didn't already know. I probably taught him something. When a tooth is infected prescribe antibiotics. I could only imagine what he would've done if I asked for something to help me with this brutal pain I've been experiencing. He probably would've called me a dirt bag junkie and had me arrested. Do better. When people are in pain as a dentist you have to try to address it antibiotics do that. There was no question that my tooth was infected. If you can't tell which one then it's probably both. Yeah I'm good on Grant Road Dentistry that's for sure.

Yesterday, I had a dental emergency & I was able to set up a same day appointment. I called the office and Sarah helped me set everything up. She was so kind and helpful! Upon walking in, I was greeted again by Sarah and Arielle. These ladies were so welcoming, so kind, so compassionate, so concerned and they had never met me before. The office is extremely clean and inviting!
I was quickly taken back and by Cristina who helped with my X-rays. She was the sweetest! Dr. Kun came in and explained what the situation was and what we needed to do to go to solution. He was wonderful! So kind and so gentle! Seriously, this was the easiest dental experience Iβve ever had. Chastina was also assisting Dr. Kun and she was so sweet and efficient! You all are amazing! Iβve already set up an appointment to be an established patient there and Iβm looking forward to seeing you all soon! Thank yoooooou!!!

I have been with this Dentist for over 3 years and I they have always greeted me warmly with a smile and have taken a great deal of time to ensure my comfort during all my procedures. I now go in for a Periodontal cleaning every 6 months and I feel at ease knowing that even though I have sensitive gums, the staff can always complete the cleaning with minimal amount of discomfort and I can always trust they will take care of any issues that might come up during the visit as the Dentist always comes in to do a checkup as well. This is the place for great dental care if you are looking for a new team to help you with any issues.

I always get very nervous about going to the dentist. Dr. Kun, Julie and Jessie were all very accommodating and sensitive to my anxieties. I got a root canal and a crown and am extremely satisfied with both the procedure and the outcome. Thank you Grant Road Dentistry for a smooth and painless visit. I will definitely be back.

I had a very positive experience at this clinic. The staff was very welcoming and prompt in getting me checked in and xrays completed. I was able to complete and submit my new patient paperwork online which reduced my wait time in the office. My consultation with Dr. Nguyen was very thorough and he took the time to answer all of my questions. My teeth cleaning was also very thorough too and Dr. Nguyen made sure I was comfortable when I was experiencing any pain. I have no complaints and will definitely be returning to this clinic!

The best dentist in town. The BEST! Iβm so glad I found this dentist and hope I never have to find another honestly. 12 out of 10. Cannot recommend them enough.
Check-In:
The staff is kind, friendly, but more importantly efficient. They also tell you your estimated cost ahead of the cleaning. I never wait more than 10 minutes from entering to get into my chair for a cleaning; usually itβs immediate. Their new e-checkin makes it even faster! They also accept a variety of insurance and non-insurance patients. And there is free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate while you wait too.
Cleaning Care:
I love the dental hygienists! They are so fun to talk to and catch up with; they make the experience really enjoyable. They are just very real and pleasurable people. I have a bit of anxiety getting my teeth cleaned (fearing the worst), and they always make me feel comfortable and confident. You can tell they go the extra mile to be sure they properly clean your teeth fully. They are also really patient and aware of their patients, giving you some time if needed during a more difficult cleaning and using water and the vacuum frequently to improve the cleaning and experience. They are also passionate about the field and can provide advice or insight however you need. Usually they schedule your follow up during the cleaning.
X-Rays:
Great tech with two different cameras. I used to find taking X-rays painful with the probe they put in your mouth, but their tech is smaller and more comfortable. They also take the photos SO FAST. In and out in like less than 5 minutes.
Exam:
Richard Kun the dentist is fantastic! He answers every and any question and provides educational information if you are curious. Efficiently evaluates your X-rays and mouth but takes the extra time to go over issues or concerns with you in detail if you ever need. Great at taking care of cavities and giving fillings that are comfortable. If after a filling you still feel like it is not comfortable or is sensitive, he is more than happy to take a look and re-shape or address your concerns free of charge.
If you are someone who hasnβt seen a dentist in a while and are worried about it, Richard is great at making a scary situation not scary and will help you get back on track with your oral health one step at a time.
Check-out:
Richard always walks me out to the front. Itβs quick and efficient yet again. Another opportunity for questions. Scheduling a follow up in 6 months. Fast payment. Email receipt if you want vs paper. They take card, do custom payment plans. They have flexible payment options for different needs. What you need, they will accommodate.
Overall:
The staff and Richard are always welcoming and remember me time after time. They never push extra services and only recommend what they think you really need. Their porcelain fillings are awesome, matching your teeth.
If you need an efficient, friendly, educated, great new tech, and cost-efficient dentist, look no further than grant road! I recommend them to everyone and now bring my boyfriend and sister here to them now too for their dental care. They are good people who effectively can tailor a dental experience to what you as an independent patient needs. I cannot recommend them enough.

The office was very nice very easy to speak with. Made you feel very comfortable. Had to have an extraction on a molar and take out two partials didn't have enough of money for everything the dentist went ahead and took the partials out for free just had to pay for one extraction. Second time coming here never had no problems. Low prices good people good work. Hands down best place in tucson

I have always trusted doctors but this place is not trust worthy. Luckily I went and got a second opinion when things didn't add up. The staff was very nice and so was the dentist. But after my initial examine for new patients, I was alarmed at what they suggested. I wanted my 6 month cleaning like I have gotten every year, twice a year. They refused and only would do scaling first. I take very good care of my teeth and was shocked when they said I needed scaling. I watched him document the measurements of my gums, he stated 3s and 4s and bleeding gums. I have never had any dentist say my gums were in bad shape and that I had gum disease. I have had many dentist examine my mouth in the last 7 years because I went to a rotating dentist office in Michigan. The dentist also said I had decay in a molar. So, I went to another dentist office for a second opinion. No decay and no scaling needed. My gums were healthy and not bleeding. I am shocked that they would mislead me for a high price procedure. They are not honest at Grant Road Dentistry.
