First, Dr. Kashani provides excellent work. Second, while the staff is nice they lack the knowledge necessary to communicate efficiently with patients. They miscommunicated and told me they accepted my ppo insurance, allowed me to leave with no co-pay only to receive a bill weeks later. When I spoke with them regarding the miscommunication they acknowledged the mistake but later decided I was still responsible for the bill. It's important to note, I have paid 100% out of pocket in the past and would still have to pay out of pocket for future work that would exceed my insurance however, I only enrolled in my insurance because they advised me to. I spoke with them BEFORE I had the service and specially asked was the service covered and was told it was covered at 100%. I would have expected them to eat the petty bill in order to retain a customer that would have easily spent thousands over the next few months. It's unfortunate when companies choose to assume no level of responsibility for the extra cost they cause their patients to incur. They have lost a customer and several referrals. ADDITIONALLY: It's important to note, that customers KNOW YOUR BUSINESS less than you do. We TRUST that we are receiving accurate information when we ask SPECIFIC QUESTIONS. In this case I specifically asked if the office was a PPO provider because my insurance advisor stated that it was appearing in the system as a premier provider and I WAS ADVISED by the Lasting Impressions staff that the service was covered under PPO at 100% and would therefore have NO COST. People make mistakes, employees are people but THE CUSTOMER should not be expected to PAY FOR THE MISTAKES OF TRAINED PROFESSIONALS.
