Dental Comfort

We went to Dental Comfort for our dental checkup and cleaning. Our experience has been very good, the staff is courteous, the doctors are good and and made sure that we are comfortable throughout the procedures. They also worked on our son smoothly for first ever dental check. We recommend Dental Comfort.

Dr Sharma is the BEST. No other dentist can calm me as much as she can. Very comfortable. Also you can watch movies and listen to music during the procedure. She's very accommodating. Doesn't roll her eyes when I bring my stress ball and blanket! Lol.

I am little late to write a review for her. Yesterday I heard her commercial on one of the radio station's and realized that I should make people aware of my experience here. I was her patient from November 2015 till March 2016. I had a really bad experience. She is really unfair in letting the patients know the total cost of treatment. She is not an implant specialist as She referred me to Dr Liu for the implants and extraction. She only did my x-ray's and provided me braces in lieu of the extracted teeth. She split the treatment between herself and Dr Liu. Dr Liu performed the extraction, bone grafting and putting the implants. Dr Sharma was getting the caps and braces.

When I first visited her, she did a complete case study and came out with the treatment plan. It was split between Dr Sharma and Liu. Initially she quoted that the complete cost would be around $8000-$9000 for two teeth. Dr Liu charged me $4500 for the extraction, bone graft and implants. Dr Sharma charged me $700 for the braces. The real twist came when I was in the last phase of the treatment. Yes, it was when I went to get my crowns for the implants. Initially Dr Sharma had quoted $2400 for the two crowns but later she said that she forgot to conider that these are for the front teeth and would rqeuire "special" crowns. She asked for $6400 for the crowns. This kind of alarmed me and I was compelled to explore other options. To my surprise it was way too high than other dentists in the entire Bay area.

Even during the treatment, I was not comfortable in using the braces and cited this out to Dr Sharma. But she kept on forcing me to wear them. Dr Sharma charged $700 for the braces. These braces were not only uncomfortable, but it also impaired my speech. I used the braces for about two weeks and it was getting too cumbersome to use them when you are at work. Imagine removing them before a meal and then putting them back after the meal. I have a job type where I have to interact with vendors and sales people. It got frustrated to the point that I stopped using the braces and was not able to make an eye contact with people while interacting with them.

I was referred to another doctor by one of my colleageus. She was really a nice dentist. She did a complete analysis of the case again, made sure that she can work on my case and came up with the total cost of the treatment in the begining itself. Since implants need some healing, she gave the caps for the teeth at no extra charge and the crowns were not priced at $6400. I ended up paying only $2000 along with deep cleaning.

Dr Sharma was not only unethical but it was also a lot of discomfort I had to go through. It went to the point when she forced me to get the treatment done for her and I can split the cost of the treatment to the monthly payments. Her Fremont clinic is in a great location and that suited me. But when other dentists in the area are charging way less that her, I dont mind driving far and getting stuck in the traffic. Also, I would looking for a one stop shop for my dental needs. Being from the same community, I went to her in good faith. Later I realised that I should have explored more. Anyways I am happy with my current dentist. People, please look for other options. Dont go by the commercials on the radio stations. If you are new to the area, dont go by Yelp or the reviews on other sites. Consider conulting your colleagues about good dentists in the area. My colleague referred me my current dentist and I am happy that I am in safe hands now.

My family of four and I receive thorough cleanings and check-ups here. Dr. Sharma is great at monitoring my family's teeth. Nice hospitality in the waiting room offering juices and chocolate milk.

Dr Sharma does a very good job in deep cleaning and dental fillings. She has done great job for years for myself and family. We highly recommend her.

This review is for my dental treatment a few years ago. I went to dental comfort on a friend's recommendation with wisdom tooth ache. Dr. Sharma examined it, suggested deep cleaning and mentioned it would help. I went ahead with the suggestion. i felt better. However it did not last long. Next week I had a severe tooth ache again. When I talked to Dr. Sharma this time she suggested to go see a surgeon for wisdom tooth removal.

But my current year's insurance was already charged for deep cleaning!! Which was not required. Doctor already saw the x-ray, knew it had to be extracted. Cleaning was done because dental comfort wanted to make some quick $$. I ended up going to a surgeon and spend money out of pocket without insurance.

I suggest run away from an unethical business like dental comfort and do not look back. Anything she suggests as a treatment, process it yourself, if it is required. Better yet, see another doctor.

Dr Sharma and her team are amazing. Great place for kids. Highly recommend.

Nice place to get your dental needs. Very comfortable staff. Doctor is very precise on the treatment and considerations on insurance claims to proceed with appropriate treatment needed sooner than later.

Horrible service for my 2year old. We went there for black marks coming up on his teeth, they just tried to brush his teeth he denied and they said the visit is done and charged my Insurance. The next week I went to the other one they cleaned nicely, but I had to pay out of my pocket as these guys ate up my allowance for the year
