I went into the office for tooth pain. I felt that Dr. Evanβs office is about trying getting the most money from you. If I had followed his dental plan after having presented with a painful tooth I would not only have $1500 out of pocket for a crown only to find out I would need to have the tooth extracted as it had a crack going down into the nerve. Dr Evans had suggested that the crack may be down into the nerve and I would then need it extracted, but he then said I should get a temporary crown, see about getting a root canal and then see if the pain goes away. This advice did not make sense to me as we did not know for sure if the tooth would need to be extracted, so I saw an Endodontist who evaluated through X-ray if the tooth Needed a root canal or extraction, and it needed extraction. The Endodontist said my constant pain was an indicator that the crack went into the root system and Dr. Evans also said the same when he filled the cavity and confirmed there was a significant crack in the tooth, but scheduled me for a crown anyway.

What struck me the most about my first visit is that the intake form asks questions about painful and traumatic past dental experiences. Then, when I got to meeting with the dentist, he reviews all that info with me, to make sure we make a good plan to avoid further trauma. The hygienists are great, the office is clean and modern, and all staff have great bedside manner.

Moved to Grass Valley concerned that in Washington State I have been dedicated to the same dentist for 30 years. I was referred to Dr. Evan's practice by a friend and couldn't be happier. The staff clearly loves working in this office and it reflects in the care they give patients. As much as you can like a trip to the dentist, I do!

I love this place and Dr. Evans! The staff is very friendly and it is very clean. Dr. Evans was able to 3D print my crown right in his office while I waited and put it on the same day...way awesome! He is always very kind and informative, he has a nice gentle touch! I would definitely recommend his services to my friends and family!

After a bad experience with another dentist I was hesitant and nervous to go to the dentist again. When I told Dr. Evans my concerns he was so understanding and while filling my tooth he made sure It was painless and he kept checking to see if I was ok and if I was in any pain. One of the best experiences I've ever had. Five stars!!!πππππ

Dr. Evans is very professional, and a very friendly guy. The assistants that work in his office are very excited about helping their customers, and they are gentle, which is very important to me. I don't have anything negative to say about his office. And the ladies at the front desk are extremely helpful and kind. Thanks to everyone who has helped me there.

Visiting this office is as enjoyable and pleasant as visiting the dentist could ever be. Everyone in the office is kind, efficient, and professional. At my last appointment I was in and out in under 45 minutes and that included x-rays, a thorough cleaning, and a check up.

I went to see Evans for a quote to do the work on a cap. He insisted that I get a gum pocket measurement. I capitulated, even though it was not relevant to my reason being in the office. About half way though, it was so painful (and I have a big tolerance) I asked him to stop. He said "If you do not do what I say then I need you to leave." Not in a kind way.. not offering to use topical pain anesthesia, in fact he yelled at me! Strangest, pushy visit I've experienced.
Seems like a thug with a small man complex, is my final analysis.
