I was a dental assistant for many years and I know a good dentist when I find one. Dr Evans is wonderful! He's kind, gentle and explains everything in detail and never in a rush.

Dr Evans is a wonderful Dentist and he has a good bedside manner. So for him he would be 5 Stars.
His front office is absolutely terrible. This is why I am no longer there. It’s a shame really. They demand money right then and there and that is SO WRONG 😑 They even told me that I could not leave the office until I gave them some money. They yell at you. There just awful!
I wish Dr Evans really knew what his front office does.

My dentist, of 20+ years, was retiring and chose DDS Evans to continue with my needs. DDS Evans, TOO many times, once is bad enough but three times, I've been quoted "your insurance will cover the cost", BUT when I come back for my appointment I was told that NO, my insurance won't cover it! How can this be, I'm double insured, I'm covered, - then I'm no longer covered??? Same with dental cleanings, I've been getting cleanings quarterly for over a decade by my retired dentist, yet I was informed by Evans' staff that my insurance only covers 3-cleaning per year??? DO NOT SELECT EVANS, DDS for your dental needs because the staff is the worst I've experienced, especially their billing quotes!

I went to Dr. Evans to have crown replaced. I was dreading it because past experience with a variety of dentists have taught me it is a long, drawn out, painful process. What a wonderful surprise to finally find a dentist that can do it right! Usually I am in pain for weeks after the procedure, but the next day all I felt was a little soreness in my jaw from having my mouth open for so long--and no pain after that at all. I loved that I could get the finished crown at the time of the appointment and not have to have a temporary, then come back weeks later for the crown--can't beat an all-in-one visit! Besides being very gentle, Dr. Evans is very professional. He takes time to explain what he is doing during the procedure and to check my comfort level. I have since been back for a filling and a cleaning. Each visit has been very positive. If you want a great dental experience (I never thought there was such a thing), this is the place to find it.

I love Dr. Evans and staff! He has been my dentist for several years now and I have always had a wonderful experience with both Dr. Evans and the entire staff. From my regular check ups and cleanings, a couple of crowns that I had to have done, to my invisalign, I can't say enough about how great everyone has treated me during all my visits. Dr. Evans is a great dentist and uses the latest technology, which is awesome. Each of my crowns were done all in the same day! The office is so pleasant to visit - everyone is very friendly and it is also a lovely, relaxing atmosphere to visit with great music playing while I am having dental work done. Dr. Evans always answers all my questions and communicates in a very warm manner everything that is being done while he is working on my teeth and I really appreciate that.

Dr. Evans and his entire staff are truly the best in the area. Dr. Evans is so precise with his work. It's a good feeling to have work done, hardly feel a thing and have the numbness wear off quickly and not last hours after the treatment is done.

After chipping a molar and also needing a cleaning I went in search of dentist in Grass Valley. Dr. Evans and his team are top notch. The staff is amazingly friendly, accommodating and answered all of my many questions with a smile. The facility itself is extremely comfortable, clean and modern.
The cleaning and examination was very thorough and all my options for my chipped molar were laid out clearly. What really blew me away was when the front desk staff stopped my cleaning because she couldn't get through to my insurance and she wanted to make sure that I didn't get stuck with a large bill I wasn't expecting. Any dental/medical facility that puts patient before profit is very admirable in my eyes.
