Today was my first visit. The staff gave me a call the day before and was polite and respectful.
When I showed up for my appointment the first thing they wanted to do was to take x-rays.
While I have no problem with the extremely low amounts of radiation, I politely declined because of my excellent dental health. I have never had any problems and declined x-rays at my previous dentists without problems. These folks here were pressing me to get x-rays though and said that it was "a liability" to do an exam without x-ray, which makes no sense.
Just an exam, mind you, not even a treatment!
My reason for declining was my good dental health and to save the insurance the unnecessary cost. X-rays are expensive and while there was no co-pay for me it makes sense to refuse a service that will save the insurance some money, thus affecting all of our rates in a positive way.
To make a long story short, they refused to complete my exam, because (in my opinion) I did not bring in enough money to make it worth their time.
I am very disappointed. Going back to my previous dentist.

Leaving 5 stars based on 1st contact with Ms. Stephanie (front office). She absolutely set the tone and first impression on the kind of service and patient care this dental office provides.
I am happy I found this office and look forward to receiving quality care here for the next three years. IBFD is lucky to have Ms. Stephanie. :)

Dr. Luo is a wonderful dentist. He really cares about your teeth. He’s gentle and will minimize the time in the chair as much as he can. And Stephanie at the front desk goes above and beyond for that office.
