I called to schedule an appointment with a specific dentist and hygienist and was scheduled with neither. The hygienist placed me in the hallway to clean my teeth with no privacy. I was then told to wait in the office waiting area for an extended period of time after my teeth cleaning because the dentist was running behind schedule. My prior dentist sent over xrays from 6 months ago, and said he could send over more detailed images the following day. The dentist at MD Dental Care Studio gave me a hard sell on a new set of xrays and said that was not good enough-even though I would be forced to pay out of pocket for a new set of xrays. I reluctantly agreed to a limited amount of additional xrays, but the dentist said that unless I had a "positive attitude about it," he would not treat me. I found this incredibly patronizing, and I seriously doubt that he would have treated a male patient this way. The dentist's tone was angry, aggressive and truly unacceptable. I have always had a positive experience with my dentists and other healthcare providers in the past, but this was a truly awful experience. I hope others can avoid similar treatment, and go elsewhere.
